Basilisk (Mythology) vs Timon and Pumbaa

Well, this might be a little out of the way, but whatever. We have a basilisk, whose poison is powerful enough to kill horses, and we have Timon and Pumbaa, a pair of best friends involving a mongoose that's not too skilled in combat and a pig that farts... Yeah.... This battle will be full SBA (I don't think speed matters all that much if a basilisk can just glare someone to death). Here are their profile for the combatants.:

It's only the weasel that's the Basilisk's weakness in the actual mythology; it's never stated in the myths that other mustelids can have a similar effect.

That bit is only conjecture; the actual myth doesn't describe other mustelids such as meerkats as counting as a part of the Basilisk's weakness; it's only the weasel that's directly described as the Basilisk's kryptonite. We can thus only speculate on the effectiveness of other mustelid species against the Basilisk, and I believe the meerkat simply couldn't count as a weakness for the Basilisk.

Um, that part of the myth is literally based on the relationship between cobras and MONGOOSES. Can't leave the inspiration out of it.
