Okay, but like, what stops Julius from just incapping Gilgamesh right off the bat with his Chrono Stasis magic, which is easily something he is notable for doing first.

Not to mention that Chrono Stasis Grigora is a perfect counter for Gil's usual tactic of "spear my opponent with a lot of weapons" via Gate of Babylon.

Gilgamesh can bypass and cancel Julius time spells. But it probably ends with a blitz stomp for Julius since speed is not equalized.

Oh yeah, Gilgamesh has Magic Resistance (Power Null) from his Amour?

Correct. EMIYA was able to power through Medea's spell that freezes space with his D Rank Magic Resistance. Violet from Fate/Extra CCC Foxtail can freeze the space of whatever she looks at, and it is explicitly stated that this causes time to stop as an end result.
Gilgamesh gets A Rank Magic Resistance from his armor, and he can use items in his treasury to further protect himself since he owns every magical and technological treasure owned by humanity (and apparently a few divine weapons and artifacts too).
One of his defensive treasures stops a Multi-Dimensional Refraction Phenomenon from Sasaki Kojirō's technique that bypasses space and time to deliver three slashes simultaneously.

Offense wise, he can 360° spam with weapons that nullifies magic, and if he retreats he can nuke with Ea.

But it probably ends with Julius blitzing.

...Huh.

Have I ever mentioned that I know little to nothing about the entirety of the Nasuverse? I seriously didn't know he could just outright nullify Julius' magic.

I mean, it looks like the only way he's gonna kill Julius is by going full 5-B on him.

Enuma Elish is a weapon, not a form, and it's extremely out of character for Gil to even use the High 6-C version, let alone the 5-B one.

Did I say that's what he was absolutely going to do? No. I just said that it seems the most effective way he's going to take him down is by going full 5-B.

I never even mentioned forms...

I thought Base Gilgamesh doesn't possess any of the resistances that are rewarded to his other key? Has this changed or is the profile just off?

I mean, all of this is in his base Servant key.

Almost anything else looks like an AP stomp for Julius to me.

(Again, I have no idea what I'm talking about when it comes to Nasuverse.)

Didn't realize it was under Servant Physiology, carry on.

I mean, are just going to ignore that OP made both characters serious and bloodlusted? That's absolutely enough for Gil to pull out Ea first thing.

Oh yeah, guess I did. FTL's kind of a problem, huh?

Hey, is Black Clover actually any good? I heard a couple people shit on it a while back and never did check it out.

It's got an interesting setting and story to it I think, it's even pretty good at pulling twist but the series really carries itself through sheer, unapologetic heart. Characters aren't anything special on their own or even when connected and if you find yourself over the shonen formula, probably not for you but if you can accept the directness it's got you'll probably enjoy it.
