As said Soya can't soul crush immediately, because Ezekiel's soul isn't on the battlefield. He would first need to spread himself into the place the soul is and to do so he has to figure out that the soul is there.

In return Soya, due to his omnipresence, is right next to Ezekiel and well into the Empathic Manipulation range. As the Empathic Manipulation doesn't need to affect his entire physical form or anything, but only the mind which's size doesn't correspond to it, being close in that way is enough for the Empathic Manipulation to be effective and Soya loses against the passive mental effect.

Even if Azashiro can't destroy his soul, Azashiro still ***** him with passive fear crush and paralysis which are both layered and have far more range then anything then Ezekiel has and it's resisted.

Azashiro has far more then Reiatsu Crush and wouldn't even need it to stomp here... This whole strategy is irrelevant. He would never do this, His Reiatsu's fear hax and paralysis is all he needs to stomp through incap.

Most forms of Empathic Manipulation are just derivatives of mind hax. I'm gonna need a reason this is gonna even work on him.

In the case of Azashiro, yes his mind would also be omnipresent.

The reasoning for this is because in Bleach the mind is directly tied to the soul, and since Azashiro's a Shinigami and doesn't have a "physical form" in the sense of not being constructed of Kishi, but rather Reishi, he'd be a soul. And since his omnipresent causes his "soul form" to become omnipresent, his mind would also be equally omnipresent.

He would need to affect the entirety of Azashiro to mind hax him, as his mind would also be omnipresent. This is never gonna happen due to the massive range discrepancy. Even on your description of the battle, Ezekiel has no wincons.

Also, Azashiro can just toss away his emotions before engaging, he has done this before, and the empathic hax is prolly resisted already. No matter how you hash it out, this strategy simply doesn't work. Either due to inate reistance, Azashiro giving himself resistance, or simply fusing beyond Ezekiels range. It's completely ridiculous to assert that the empathic hax is gonna work on an omnipresen whi he can't see or interact with due to layered intang and invis.

For a general analysis on this match, it's pretty clear to see why Azashiro stomps pretty bad.

Ezekiel only has 3 useful things and here's why they fail.

• Immortality and Low Godly - Azashiro has methods of incap Ezekiel can't do anything about, such as mindhaxing him through lobotomy to turn him into a slave, and simply fear haxing and paralyzing with Reiatsu
• Death touch - He can't touch or see Azashiro when he fuses, so it's useless. Azashiro isn't normally a physical fighter so it's further useless. It's also outranged horribly
• Empathic hax - Azashiro debatably has resistance through mind hax resistances. Even if not that, he can simply make himself immune before going in range through discarding his feelings and Ezekiel can't interact with him when fused and lacks the range to affect him.

So yeah, Azashiro passively incaps through fear and paralysis hax, and if he feels it neccesary, most likely mind haxes as Ezekiel has no resistance. Azashiros hax outranges by far and he has counters to everything Ezekiel can do.
