What is the recommended average human height for calculations?

depends on the hight, for a average person (lets say 5ft7-10) their range is a few feet via punches/kicks if they have no weapons
if they have a weapon such as a bad or axe, its still a few more feet
with guns, it can be a few hundred feet to miles depending on the gun

I recommend using the average height based on countries. If you can't then use 170 for women and 180 for men or sth idk

Armor type would usually be a dead giveaway but since this is Erza we're talking about...

We’ve used 1.7 meters for Erza in most Fairy Tail calcs.

159.5 cm for woman and 171 cm for men, unless one can narrow it down better using origin / ethinicity, I would say.
