Avengers Assemble comics are canon? or at least usable?

Title is almost misleading, if you don't know what I mean.

I have seen the Marvel's Avengers Assemble(Earth-12041) series again since YouTube recommended it to me but that is not the important thing.

What matters is that I have decided to try to review the verse and add characters and it so happens that a couple of days ago researching on the internet in search of good images for renders, I discovered that the series had a Comic version which puts new stories and old stories from the animated series.

and the marvel database, takes it as canon, although the latter is only the opinion of fans and nothing official.

also there are important events that are ignored in the comics.

the question is canon the comic version? or should it not be used?

well, I've been searching the internet and according to wikipedia (other sources like Disney itself that created the series so that people would be interested in comics) it seems to be a complement to the series and is made by the same writer as the animated series, It was just to see if there was someone here who had more information.
