Avatar Discussion Thread

Way to change your standards back and forth writers.

I am quite positive Blue Fire was stated to be hotter than white regarding Azula's Blue fires. Plus Blue fire is the hottest IRL
If I recall, rainbow fire also didn't burn Roku's hands even though that's treated as the most powerful fire in-series. I think this is just plot-induced weirdness.

Screenshotted from the upcoming Avatar: Visual dictionary. First we had the MTG card that claims that Roku could create a "sun-sized fireball"; now we have this statement.

4-C with a High 3-A staff Avatar ??

Too bad it gets nuked by the ”some claim”

Another preview for the Visual dictionary. According to this, waterbenders using concentrated power can "move mountains". Think that that could be supporting evidence for Katara and others for briefly fighting Tagah, who could hold up a mountain.

A screenshot from the fighting game page on the xbox website. Looks like everything from the leaks are right so far which means avatar states Aang and Korra are fighting a spirit who is manipulating entire timelines at the end of the game.

Holy shit I had no idea this was a thing. Avatar Legends right?

Btw, something I thought would be interesting to mention.

In the new season of the Netflix ATLA LA series, there seems to be something that gives a more blatant idea of how large the spirit world is. Sokka was using the observatory inside Wa Shi Tongs library to figure out the day of Black Sun like in the animated series. But here, it’s not an actual observatory room. The literal sun and moon were being manipulated by the controls, showing entire cloud movement and day/night cycles happening over and over again until they got the date they wanted. This is also proven by Sokka trying to speak to Yue from inside the room, suggesting hes trying to speak to the literal moon.

So not only does this show the Spirit world has its own (copy) of the sun and moon, but it would seem to even be able to replicate that of the physical world.

Questioning something regarding the movie. Should Aang reacting to and outpacing Tagah in his fully amped form while Aang's in base be treated as an outlier? Tagah speedblitzed everyone earlier, even Aang while the later was in the Avatar state. I wonder if we could rationalize it by saying that some of the avatar state's energy was still in Aang's body.

I'm curious what is the validity to this claim and could it be used or is it inapplicable?

I'm not sure about the ap, but the reason why Cosmic Korra's speed is currently rated as sub-rela is because of the speed of auroras and the fact that she rode on the auroras and reacted to Unavaatu. I think we could reasonably buff the avatar state's speed to that level cause Aang's energy when leaving the iceberg created an aurora.

I was mainly referring to the AP part, but the speed is good to know.

I went and gathered a bunch of instances of Benders surviving attacks from each other.

The current pages claim there's a massive disparity between their physical durability (9-A) and their AP with Bending ("8-B/8-A/Low 7-C/7-C with Bending"). But that seems really odd given how often Benders take attacks from each other and this just tends to result in them knocking each other down, being sent flying, or at worst being rendered unconscious. A person with 9-A durability receiving a Tier 8/7 attack would just straight up die lol
the best durability feat is roku vs his water bending teacher, youtube it.. i dont think we have a better one than that

That seems great, and the release date is much sooner than I thought. Thank you. 🙏❤️

So, the avatar has an identical twin? Could it be that one of them hosts Raava and the other hosts Vaatu?

Also, it is sad that the story for Korra and her friends ended so tragically. 😔

Yes. Maybe I misremember. It has been quite a long time since I watched those episodes. 🙏

There could be events that happened between end of Korra and beginning of Seven Havens, but we probably won't know till it comes out.

Avatar: Seven Havens trailer

lmfao this looks terrible, so to summarize this right its 2 pajeet twins and one who seems to be the avatar is disabled and they are on an adventure to save the world after the last avatar that last forced lgbt avatar destroyed the world and now everyone thinks the avatar is a horrible thing in an artstyle that looks like High Guardian Spice with extra steps...

lmfao you cant make this shit up, is this the story of Microsoft reimagined as an avatar series :ROFLMAO: :ROFLMAO:

take this with a grain of salt i saw it on twitter today potentially massive power up for korra in seven havens
It also fits a common theme, where it is Avatar's duty to fix the mistakes of previous Avatars. Though, the methods may lead to problems that future Avatars will need to solve in turn. Given Avatar Aang struggled with Air Nomads and Guru Pathik's teachings about separating from Earthly Attachments, but also with Yangchen's demand that he must also sacrifice his Spiritual Needs if it is necessary to keep the world at balance, and also had Katara to keep him "Down to Earth" or "Grounded to Reality." It is fitting that Korra achieved a level that Aang (And and by extension those who came before) could not do. Though it makes me wonder if that's how Aang could have turned out had he not left Guru Pathik and finished his training at the cost of possibly losing Katara for good. Which otherwise would have went against what Yangchen taught. This tops the Ocean & Moon Spirit upscaling by a considerably margin.
