Aurelion Sol (LOL) VS Aurora (Child of Light)

Battle of Sword User and Dragon, galactic style!

Instead of Umbra, Aurora faces Aurelion Sol in the Final Battle in the game Child of Light. Speed equalized, and otherwise no other restrictions aside from the equalization of speed.

This uses the 3-B versions of the characters.

Will the Dragon win? Or will the sword user triumph? As usual, state your reasoning or your vote will not be counted.

For the second round, Speed is UNEQUALIZED. Does this change anything in the fight?

Hmmmm.

...thinking Aurora. She's got a slight DC/Dura advantage, Igniculus to further slow Sol at opportune moments and land interrupts, can self-heal to compensate for her inferior regen (though she does have it, should probably get to that), her crown should be able to ward off most of what Sol can do hax-wise, and Oculi to compensate and more in the hax department in general. On top of this, most of Sol's primary methods of attacking: light and fire and star energy? That's basically of the things that aren't very effective against Aurora.

There are a fair couple of things Aurora doesn't have a specific counter for: gravity manipulation and telekinesis may throw her for a loop, and Sol has far higher range and physical strength and could thus just sort of grab her and hold her in place if given the chance: but I don't think it'll be enough, especially seeing as Sol is both a bit overconfident and generally doesn't go for physical modes of combat anyways when given the choice.

Going with the Child of Light overall. 10/10 fairy tale, would read again

That would make an awesome fairy tale themed Death Battle. I bet the host would go like this:

"The Knight versus The Dragon. A classic tale. But what if instead of the Knight fighting the dragon, it would be the Princess?"
