All Lanterns should have really high resistance to cosmic radiation. Even Lantern trainees can tank supernovas and Atrocitus is way stronger than them.

He can create a force field around himself and shoot Duraneg Napalm, which has enough range to cover CQC which is what Garou opens with.

Garou can possibly copy his moveset as well if Atrocitus does do that. Plus he has Water Flowing Moms Fists to deflect attacks two fold which he spams.

Garou would easily deflect this with Water Stream Rock Smashing Fist

How does crushed rock work? Because Red Lantern blood can like instantly vaporizes you if it touches you.


Also, it should be noted that the second Atrocitus thinks he can corrupt you, he'll just do it. Like Hal is normally able to resist it, but the second he dropped his guard, he instantly turned him into a Red Lantern. Garou is filled with way more rage than Hal or Supergirl, both of whom were corrupted by the Red Lanterns.

The requirements are that you need to have some great source of rage within you, and your rage has to be for righteous reasons. I'm pretty sure that Garou being pissed off at how unfair society is would qualify.

Also, something that wasn't brought up is the same dura-neg napalm that Atrocitus spits out is still just Red Lantern energy and he can make it into constructs. Guy Gardner, after being corrupted, was able to turn the napalm into a rain of needles, Atrocitus can turn the napalm into just a energy beam, Hal Jordan once turned it into homing missiles, ect. It's the whole gimmick of the Red Lanterns. Atrocitus could make a big ass napalm explosion to kill everything around even if Garou tried to portal blitz him and the Naplam is legit his go too move.

Garou has great hax, but he doesn't use them instantly while Atrocitus will just spam the shit outta his. Garou waited till like halfway through the battle with Saitama to try and BFR him. He had the ability to time travel and waited till he lost to use it. The hax that he does use In character right off the bat aren't going to be useful here while Atrocitus will just open with his best options.
