ARK: Survival Problem

So for some reason some of the creatures from Ark: Survival Evolved get their ratings from their in-game health stats:

• Titanosaur - (It would take 153 Rocket Launcher hits to take a Titanosaur down, which is equivalent to 23 tons of TNT)
• The Manticore (ARK: Survival Evolved) - (A maxed Manticore takes 4874 rockets to kill, 731 tons of TNT)
• Arthropleura (Ark: Survival Evolved) - (Max level wild arhtropleura has 15,400 HP, it would take 10.2 Rockets (.15 tons each) to kill it)

Their durability is based almost on game mechanics, but as im unfamiliar with the verse i dont know how to go about fixing this.

Hmm, yeah, people here confused HP with durability, also, did someone really counted any hit able to kill the enemies?

Hmm i'm not sure how we can rectify this issue. I mean i could see us analysing how the creatures damage things like buildings or they're size, but i think that'd likely carrry its own problems.

Their AP is scaled to those durability feats as well, which makes this even more problematic

Im fairly certain the Titanosaur's sheer size and ability to "wear a T-rex as a shoe" would warrant a solid 8-C tier, which in turn should scale to the manticore

Are there any other feats to back up anything 8-C or higher?

Well aside from their tanking mad amounts of heavy artillery and busting buildings not that i know of.

Alright, my bad here, Titan's AP should be scaled from tanking massive amount of artillery and possibly the Rex-Shoe statement

I recall i saw a calc by Aparajita that used HP, and was not aware of the HP rule up ntil nlw, thus i take full responsibility, but i do believe the Tita should get an 8-C tiering, assuming the metal structures on ARK are made of steel, a Titan can easily wipe out an entire metal based base in a large radius

And of course the bosses would scale from this, though they are much stronger than the Titan

This probably means i should delete the Arthropleura profile

Actually Hellbeast, as far as i recall, the Broodmother is still stronger than the Titan, its just that the Titan is overwhelmingly stronger than the second best tameable dino, the Giganotosaurus

@Quagsire Its alright, no worries. So 8-C Titanosaur and Manticore, and considering the Arthropleura can tank RPGs that should net it a solid 9-A rating

Not sure if this would be any use, but a task that requires a rather hefty amount of grenades(destroying a metal wall) takes little to no effort with a Titan

Is it? Because i remember one could feasibly best the Broodmother with a Giga which is FAR weaker then the Titan but hey i might be wrong. @Weekly so 8-C Ark top tiers with 9-A high tiers?

also,the Boss Monsters like Manticore ,..etc riding are just modded,we shouldn't add it into the Survivors profiles,instead of that,we should change it to the like of Giganotosaur,Reaper Queen/King
