The way it works (in my verse) is that theres a entity that creates laws and fundamental principles that fuel the world and allow it to exist, its a divine balance which allows fundamental principles that contradict each other to co exist (like cold and warmth) and it also has a cycle of life death and rebirth.

Maybe. They are shown to have a dual relationship, and reality itself needs it to exist, however there would be need that the principal itself is abstract and a progenitor of it's object, I.e the concept of heat is the source of heat, rather then just a law for how heat works.

If thats the case then it would qualify, Guardians maintain this so the world is at perfect equalibrium. They oversee everything and each are a fundamental principle of Nature. (E.g.
