Why would Knuckles remember the resets?

Why does Knuckles have acausality on his profile to begin with? Chaos Knuckles almost got killed by a time paradox, and considering he's much superior to Hyper Knuckles, I don't see why either of them should have acausality.
He would use it when he is up against an opponent superior to him kan?
On the standard battle assumptions page it says "Furthermore characters will not give up of their own accord. That means a character that is uninterested or sees no chance of winning won't simply leave" . Using the True reset counts as Asriel giving up or leaving which is not allowed under SBA.

You said this. The reasoning for inconclusive was he would notice Knuckles was too strong and then Asriel would proceed to use the true reset. It is not something Asriel would do in character. He would keep on trying to kill Knuckles no matter what like he did to Frisk.
first of all he wouldn't keep killing someone stronger than himself. that's just really dumb for him to do.
What would happen post reset? Would they just go on and live their normal lives or something.

Meaning that once the time comes the characters would instantly be transported back to the location they were fighting in causing the fight to continue. Which cannot be avoided.
exactly, so fAsriel would keep on using true reset until he finds a way to kill off knuckles from scratch.
Yeah it probably would just be Inconclusive then.
