There's some minor upgrades and changes for a couple profiles of Apocalypse Witch that were made when Volume 1 was released.

Feats and statements used for this revision are in these blogs: Karuta, Marika and Crystal Magicians in general.

Karuta Utagai

1) Aine should get the likely of her AP removed, Crystal Magicians can fight and destroy Decoy Threats and even fight and kill actual Threat units, which are tougher than the decoy models, even if they have a tougher time harming the more durable units. Given the same battle, both Karuta and Aine should have the feat of fighting a 44-hour battle with the Decoy Threats added to their stamina

Apocalypse Witch 02 - Aine cuts a Decoy Threat's leg
He clenched his teeth until he thought they would break and Aine moved out front with sword at the ready.

With a flash of that blade, a giant ant’s leg was severed with a diagonal cut before it could crush him and the ant itself toppled over. He had survived that, but the Threat was clearly locked onto him. These were now enemies rather than simple obstacles.

Apocalypse Witch 02 - Fought for nearly two days and killed several Decoy Threats in the battle of Crystal Beach
Length of Battle: 44 Hours, 28 Minutes, 31 Seconds.

Dead: 34 (including Alice Majority). Injured: 705.

Total Number of Defeated Enemies: All 9989 of them.

The differing sizes of different Threat models make it hard to be exact, but the general loss ratio was 1-to-8 and I earned something of a high score myself. I would say this has proven the effectiveness of Crystal Magic. Hooray.

It took longer than a day, but they had defeated every last one of the Threat.

They had gone around destroying more and more and more and more of the Threat flooding the ground and sky.

Even though that enemy was not even strictly alive.

This was not the first night they had seen during the fighting. It was the second one.

Apocalypse Witch 03 - Cuts down some tadpole Threats
The legged tadpoles were shaking their truck-sized bodies. But even with the laser sniping from above and Aine going wild with her katana, they did not fight back. Was this part of their division of roles? Instead of trying to fight, they were trying to escape to safety so their accumulated knowledge could be passed on to the rest. Or to put it another way, Aine was chasing down the unresisting tadpoles and mercilessly cutting them down from behind. If his side stopped trying to fight, this hellish scene would go away on its own, yet the hell before his eyes never ended.

2) Aine should have Inorganic Physiology. It was stated that she's not made of flesh and blood but of the same crystal material used by Crystal Magicians for their armor and weapons mimicking the human form. As seen in some of her feats; she doesn't need to eat, appears unable to feel pain and doesn't even bleed when losing an arm or commiting sepuku, stands in the middle of an intense blizzard without discomfort and doesn't sweat at all.

Apocalypse Witch 01 - Aine's body is made of crystal, not flesh and blood
“If you insist, I could always eat a gold bar directly.”

“The gold is the problem! And why do you even need to eat if you’re Crystal Magic!?”

“You have already asked that 72 times, but I will faithfully answer it yet again. My body is made of crystal – that is, a silicon semiconductor – so by taking in pure gold, I can expand my internal circuitry and obey more complex and higher-level requests. So you could say this is all meant for your benefit, Sacri-sama.”

Apocalypse Witch 01 - Doesn't need to eat
“It is not an issue of flavor and the nutrients required by the human body are irrelevant to me. I need gold, pure gold. By adding wiring thinner than hairs inside my silicon semiconductor body, I can expand to even greater heights!!”

Apocalypse Witch 01 - Can eat metal without issues
Seeing the enjoyment and love on her face as she consumed the gold leaf filled him with a weird feeling. She looked so much like a human, but this consumption of metal was an undeniable oddity. While it was true humans needed to consume iron and zinc, they would not start chomping on a screw or nail. Aine, on the other hand, probably would eat a pure gold screw or nail if she was given one.

It was unlikely that pale crystal girl would show any sign of rejection such as metal poisoning.

Apocalypse Witch 01 - Either lacks blood or similar liquids or is able to stop herself from bleeding instantly
The crystal girl shoved the curly twintails childhood friend out of the way just before something swept diagonally through that space. It was a scorching blade similar to a gas burner. Aine could not dodge in time, so her slender left arm was severed at the elbow. The barrier formed by a spatial vibration field was no use. The arm spun through the air and fell to the snow. Either she had no liquid circulating her body or she “tightened” the end of the stump because there was no bleeding.

Apocalypse Witch 01 - Doesn't appear to feel pain from losing an arm
One-armed Aine did not seem to feel any pain as she slowly tilted her head.

Apocalypse Witch 02 - Isn't sweating or out of breath after running at high speeds, which she attributes to being anatomically different than humans
However. Someone else was maintaining an even greater pace while seemingly unbothered by it all: the crystal girl named Aine.

She currently wore the same sort of gym clothes as Marika, but she was not even human. She had been summoned in place of the translucent armor because a certain boy had accidentally activated his Crystal Blossom before sealing a god’s name within the printed circuit board smaller than a stamp. She was something shaped like a pale-skinned girl.

“Hey, wait up, Aine-chan! Pant, pant. Stop already!!”

“You cannot catch up even if I stopped here. I have already lapped you twice.”

“Pant, gasp. Wh-why aren’t you out of breath?”

“Probably because I am anatomically different from a human.”

[...]

Once she reached the end of her last lap, Utagai Karuta hit the button on a stopwatch while seated on the edge of the theatre stage. Unlike the girls, he was wearing his purple blazer uniform.

“Aine.”

“Yes, Sacri-sama?”

She had no trouble responding after running at length while keeping a pace the average human could not match during a sprint. Unlike Karuta’s childhood friend Marika, she was not out of breath, she was not sweating, and her face was not flushed. Her high specs were obvious at a glance, but Karuta did not look happy.

Apocalypse Witch 02 - Not bothered by a -15 degrees blizzard
The blizzard was raging.

At 15 degrees below zero, that white hell would have sapped the life out of any ordinary human standing within it, but this girl did not feel the slightest discomfort.

She was pale-skinned and made of crystal.

Apocalypse Witch 04 - Is fine after commiting seppuku
A gruesome sound followed.

She did not even hesitate.

Her very nature prevented her from disobeying him, so to protect the dumbass she served, she kneeled, grabbed the sword with both her hands, and drove it through her own gut to forcibly pin her small body in place.

Committing seppuku wasn’t enough to kill Aine. It wasn’t even clear if she had a beating heart that circulated blood through her body. So for her, it may have just been one of the options available to her.

3) Aine should have Supersonic reaction speed added to the already listed Supersonic flight speed. Crystal Magicians are noted to be able to move like a ballet dancer at speeds surpassing fighter jets, and are stated to be capable of blocking supersonic bullets and missiles (Aine is explicitly listed as being capable of doing so); so they clearly have the reactions to match their flight capabilities.

Apocalypse Witch 01 - Crystal Magicians can make shap turns while flying at supersonic speeds
Crystal Blossoms used magic to ignore inertia and air resistance while flying, so they allowed for a dimension of flight not possible with fighter crafts. Simply put, they could make right angle turns at supersonic speeds with no risk whatsoever.

Apocalypse Witch 03 - Reacts to the Warrior Doll's supersonic charge to protect Karuta
The overlapping armor at the back of the knees, behind the helmet, and elsewhere opened up and a green explosion burst from those gaps. By the time Karuta noticed that, it was already right on top of him.

That was some form of booster.

The 3m giant brought a shockwave as it approached, so its body alone would have been as deadly as an artillery shell.

Karuta could only stand there in a daze.

So what happened next was not his doing.

“Sacri-sama!!”

He could not understand it.

A dull sound rang out.

A small white figure had moved in between them at the last second. His Crystal Magic looked outmatched against that 3m armored giant, but her cold blade had caught The Warrior Doll’s hot one.

The Warrior Doll had more than just leg strength. It could accelerate its heavyweight armor using the eruption of green light behind it.

That explosive propulsive force gave the reddish-purple armor mobility surpassing that of a fighter craft. Even without its sword, it could break a warship in two with a simple tackle. How powerful would its sword strikes be if it had optimized the techniques needed to kill? The edge of a sword was determined by how much speed could be placed behind its weight.

A high-pitched sound rang out.

It had broken the sound barrier.

It was a testament to Aine’s skills that she had managed force her slender form in between the boy and the Warrior Doll and stop the latter with her crystal-like sword.

Apocalypse Witch 04 - Crystal Magicians can intercept average bullets/missiles
Marika and the others were magicians who could slice through the average bullet or missile with a sword.

Apocalypse Witch 04 - People like Marika and Aine can block bullets
''Karuta’s only weapon was the flashlight he could use as a club. With some exceptions like Aine or Marika, seeing and then blocking a bullet flying at supersonic speeds would require a miracle (in the sense that it would require dumb luck). With a shotgun that sent out a shower of deadly pellets, it was wholly impossible. He could not hope to defend himself.''

4) Karuta should have the weaknesses of the Crystal Magic's regeneration to poison, bloodloss, drowning, asphyxiation, starvation and loss of stamina added, plus the resistance to being physically knocked out.

Apocalypse Witch 01 - The regeneration process can be obstructed by foreign objects lodged in the body
She had been a Regulation 3 and the Student Council President, but no matter how many commands she sent from her printed circuit board, her Crystal Blossom would no longer produce armor for her. Nor could she pull out her Flamberge, a flame sword said to be more than twice her height. The bare minimum of communication was the most she could manage. She had been talented enough that it was rumored she could travel not just across the ocean and through the sky but between dimensions as well, but due to a serious wound to her back, she could no longer even get out of that wheelchair on her own.

As long as the wound was not fatal, if a Crystal Magician’s limbs were chopped off, the damaged portion would crystallize and a rapid healing process would begin. After about 30 seconds, the crystal shell would be destroyed and they would be as good as new. But Karuta had heard the process would not function properly if a piece of shrapnel or something was lodged in the body such that it obstructed the healing.

Apocalypse Witch 01 - Weaknesses to toxins
With an excellent regenerative ability, removing foreign objects from the body became difficult.

Especially toxins.

Something as simple as preventing bleeding did not allow the toxins out of the body. The system meant to repair their body would run in vain until their stomach and blood vessels were properly cleaned out, so they would end up in a repeating loop of needless crystallizations across their body.

For Crystal Magicians, it was hard to tell how much of a substance would be helpful versus harmful, so they apparently had to be very careful when taking medicines.

Apocalypse Witch 01 - Regeneration doesn't recover either stamina or lost blood
Also, he had lost a lot of blood after being stabbed in the side.

[...]

He woke up to find himself in what was obviously the finest medical facility of an advanced nation. The wound itself would have closed up thanks to his Crystal Magic, but the extreme exhaustion was a different matter. The blood transfusion was a huge help.

Apocalypse Witch 02 - Can't heal starvation, asphyxiation or drowning
“The regeneration is powerful enough to put any doctor to shame by healing any wound or illness in thirty seconds. It is fantastically effective on wounds received from an external source, but it has trouble with anything you are already missing. For example, oxygen, nutrients, or water. The regeneration can only heal non-lethal wounds. So if you starve to death, the healing process is skipped and you are immediately crystallized.”

Apocalypse Witch 02 - Vulnerable to drowning
“Think back to what you learned in cooking class because this is the same. Crystal Magic’s regeneration has trouble with damage coming from something you are missing, so it won’t help you if you drown. And your flight won’t always work the way you want it to. You at least need to learn how to float in the ocean or a river if you’re shot down.”

Apocalypse Witch 02 - Can't heal lost blood or body heat
Altogether, the several domes were about the same as a normal city, so the medical office was the size of a small general hospital. They would heal most wounds in 30 seconds, but his lost blood and body heat would not come back. It had helped a lot to get him in a warm bed with a blood pack.

Apocalypse Witch 04 - Weak to poison/radiation
“I mean, she spends every night in your room. She could have poisoned your breakfast or sabotaged you in any number of ways. We might heal any injury in 30 seconds, but we’re still vulnerable to poison because it triggers an endless cycle of damage and regeneration inside us. She could have used a radioactive material, a biological weapon, or even gradually increased the flavor of the food to trigger a placebo effect. Machibula would have plenty of options for giving herself an easier time of it, but Aine-chan hasn’t done any of that.”

Apocalypse Witch 04 - Regeneration makes it difficult for Crystal Magicians to be knocked unconscious
Crystal magic provided a regeneration power. Any nonlethal injury would be healed in thirty seconds. That made it incredibly difficult to knock him unconscious with a physical blow. In fact, it was very nearly impossible without using a chokehold like Letnahe had done, a special witch potion, or causing a lightning strike with a weather manipulation power.

5) Karuta should have the basic level of martial arts he got training in volume 4's tournament added (although listed as being a post-volume 4 upgrade). He went from being untrained and unable to land a single hit on a trained expert soldier to actually winning some fights with her, taking out mooks and having a decent one-on-one physical fight with another martial artist in a few days.

Apocalypse Witch 04 - Didn't stand a chance against Letnahe Kurent when he started training
He sparred with her for about two hours until lunchtime, but she was a professional soldier. He had never stood a chance in a direct one-on-one fight. It ended without him ever getting a real counterattack in. All he had learned was that his paper-thin barrier was entirely useless.

He had received the very un-teacherly comment that the regeneration was useful “because I can punch you in the face over and over and never leave any blood or bruises.” But since he was going to be livestreamed around the world as the world’s strongest it probably was best that he didn’t show up with a split lip and a black eye.

After returning from wherever she had gone, Mama Letnahe Kurent beat Karuta up even more for a post-lunch workout. His arms and legs could not keep up, but he did manage to follow her punches and kicks with his eyes. However, the difficulty of predicting her actions shot up when she added grappling to the mix. His instincts told him to protect his face and gut…but that manifested itself as his reflexes curling him up in a ball out of fear. It was also strange how the hem and collar of his short-sleeved dress shirt or the belt of his slacks counted as weak points now. Since he had to engage his brain to remember why it was dangerous to let her reach those parts, his reactions were unavoidably slower.

Apocalypse Witch 04 - At the third day of getting training by Letnahe Karuta's instincts are now good enough to sense a grab coming and he starts getting hits on her
First thing in the morning and he was already getting beaten up.

“I see you can sense a grab coming with your instincts instead of your conscious mind. That’s good. Your reactions are a little too blatant, though.”

Still, things were somewhat different from the first day.

It didn’t happen often.

But from time to time, like some kind of mistake, he actually managed to get an attack in on Letnahe. He was no longer losing every single time.

6) Aine should have Enhanced Senses. It's a weird version, but essentially even if she technically doesn't have senses physically superior to humans the way her brain works makes her able to use those senses better and detect things humans are unable to detect, such as a particular scent.

Apocalypse Witch 03 - Can detect some smells humans cannot
“I have detected a chemical very similar to diallyl disulfide within the Threat liquid found all over Miss Marika’s group. It is not on Sacri-sama or myself, so it may be used to assist them when they attack.” Aine explained from the other side of the thin door. “That is normally used in crow repellants, but it can also be used as a marker to track down a target when combined with a hound or another animal with an excellent nose. It is colorless and, when watered down, it does not have a strong enough odor for humans to detect. The best solution would be to remove all of your clothing and shave off all of your body hair, but if you are opposed to continuing the mission in the nude, I would recommend thoroughly washing your clothing with a chemical detergent. Immediately.”

“Why can she detect smells that humans can’t?”

“Aine-chan’s senses are the same as a human’s, but she apparently stores things in her mind differently. If she licks salt, she doesn’t sense it as ‘salty’ – she senses which of the six tastes it stimulated. So she would probably overlook something if the magnitude was too low, but I guess she can still classify things if they’re simply mixed with other smells.”

Marika Amaashi

1) Marika should have the feats of fighting and destroying Decoy Threats and fighting and killing actual Threat units, which are tougher than the decoy models, even if they have a tougher time harming the more durable units. Her Stamina should be upgraded to High given the feat of fighting a 44-hour battle with the Decoy Threats. Same as Karuta and Aine, as she also participated in that battle

2) Marika should have Supersonic reaction speed added to the already listed Supersonic flight speed. Crystal Magicians are noted to be able to move like a ballet dancer at speeds surpassing fighter jets, and are stated to be capable of blocking supersonic bullets and missiles (Marika is explicitly listed as being capable of doing so); so they clearly have the reactions to match their flight capabilities. Same as Aine.

3) Her Striking Strength should be upgraded to Wall Class due to launching Karuta Utagai 100m into the air with a sword swing and them immediately jumping above him.

Apocalypse Witch 02 - Crystal Magician's enhanced strength is enough to send a human 100m into the air and jump even higher than that
Aine’s voice sounded distorted even though she was right next to him.

Of course it did.

It felt like an explosion, but it was not.

He had attacked with his modified military flashlight and Aine with her sword, but Marika caught those things on her rapier and mercilessly activated the translucent armor that enhanced her strength. That led to a great eruption. Aine flipped sideways in a tailspin to let the vector safely escape her, but Karuta could not do the same and he was launched straight upwards. The pain was so great he thought his arms were going to pull out of his shoulders as he flew 100m up. His ears throbbed painfully from the rapid pressure change.

“!!!???”

''“Y’know.”''

A voice whispered in his ear. After launching him, Amaashi Marika had used the full strength of her armor to easily leap up higher even than him.

4) Marika should have the weaknesses of the Crystal Magic's regeneration to poison, radiation, bloodloss, drowning, asphyxiation and loss of stamina added, plus the resistance to being physically knocked out. Same as Karuta

5) Marika should have the minor resistances the Crystal Magic passive barrier gives to Crystal Magicians to allow them to fly at supersonic speeds and/or high altitudes, such as resistance to cold, sonic booms, inertia, air resistance, lack of oxygen, etc...

Apocalypse Witch 01 - Crystal Magicians are shielded from things like sonic booms
“Wait, wait,” responded Gekiha. “Some of our upperclassmen have figured out how to use acoustic weapons.”

“You don’t just mean radar or sonar, do you?”

“I mean blasting things with pure sound. It’s like a fancy speaker cannon. Now, that’s not gonna kill us when we can negate the sonic boom of supersonic travel, but imagine getting hit by one of those head-on. It’s like a thick wall and it covers an entire surface. Wouldn’t that be an effective way to slow down enemies over a wide area?”

Apocalypse Witch 01 - Marika flies at supersonic speeds while carrying Karuta. Crystal Magician's protections from atmospheric pressure, inertia, air friction, lack of oxygen and low temperatures while flying plus the protection against sonic booms mentioned above in the Crystal Magic section. They can extend this protection to a person they carry, although it makes flying harder
The entire concept of sound vanished.

Their ears only felt some kind of compression.

While dragging around some dead weight, Marika flew in a complex figure eight to desperately avoid the back-to-back cannon blasts. This was not just an issue of weight or air resistance. The rapid changes of altitude brought changes in atmospheric pressure, the rapid movement brought inertia and air friction, they needed oxygen, and their body temperature could not fall too far. She was used to providing those protections for herself, but she had to provide them for Karuta as well this time since his weak barrier was not enough. That placed a greater burden on her.

Apocalypse Witch 02 - A Crystal Magician's protection against the cold would let them withstand a -15 degrees blizzard for a full day
“Then what? We go outside?” asked Marika. “That’s a -15-degree blizzard, just like in here. Crystal Magic does give some protection against the cold since we have to fly around at high altitudes at Mach speeds, but we won’t last out there forever. I imagine we’ll reach our limit after a full day – 24 hours.”

Their magic gave them a limit of 24 hours out in the cold, but they could reset that by getting rest somewhere warm. Similarly, when fighting the Problem Solvers, they had first acquired a cheap used RV instead of weapons or armor. If you were going to fight, you needed a safe home where you could take your time and think.
