With Angsizing calculator being a common means to find the distance of certain objects with degrees (2 atan (tan (70deg/2) * (object size px/panel height px)), however, I am curious as to what would the formula be for the reverse, you have the distance but want to find the size of an object, what would the formula be for finding the degrees which would be used in the formula with distance input?

As per the calculation page...

Object size = 2*tan(70deg/2) * distance from point of view to object * object height in pixels / panel height in pixels

Of course, you need the "distance from point of view to object" already stated within the story in advance (Which M3X had already done as per the Naruto Earth maps), so...

Okay, thanks, and just a reminder for myself that finding distance when having the size of an object and degrees with this formula below?
  • Distance from point of view to object = object size * panel height in pixels/[object height in pixels*2*tan(70deg/2)]
