Not really. They're mostly applicable WITH LoS since most of his abilities require him to scan the opponent first. If he can find the burrow Specimen 3 came in first then maybe he can predict where his opponent will come from, otherwise stealth attacking him once is still in the realm of possibility
well, the specime will not have It's burrows without being in the mansion, so Connor will alread be in advantage, and It never showed to be able to creat them fast enough

Not really. Once it's down and misses, he'll get that LoS he needs and be able to shoot it down
will he be able to do anything before the thing get him? It will be really close to conor whem get him, and should be able to survive some bullets If they don't hit critical places
If a guy with an axe can kill it once it falls down, a guy with a gun should be able to the same, moreso since the range is better and he can actually keep distance
well, the axe can't one shot the thing, and a axe would cause a bigger area of damage themjust a bullet wond
There's also still range and shooting the head should be an easy decision since that usually the weak spot of most things
you can survive a shoot in the head(trough unlikle), this thing should be able to take some before being putted down
