Ajeel's Upgrade

With Ajeel reappearing, I strongly believe that Ajeel's sand power effectiveness should be upgraded to a higher level for a couple reasons.

1. Is because of his similar level to the other Spriggans who one or few of them showed to be at least high end small island level. Only two should be higher than that.

2. After Irene's Universe One spell, the entire country the size of Europe compressed into 1/5th it's former size so the matter and mass is compressed too. So with that there is the fact of how dense the earth should be, if say the earth was the same material as sandstone, then 20x that should have the density of 52 p(g/cm3), tougher than gold or diamond. And Ajeel had shown to be able to pulverize said earth with relative ease.

1. Island level via hax only (which is included on her profile). It does not translate to direct AP. And Brandish has been shown as being unable to affect someone who was knocked out by a city level character. I would also like to point out that there is a calc which pegs Brandish's island feat at city level only (though I take calcs involving hax with a pinch of salt).

2. All Universe One does is rearrange stuff and BFR some people. It does not translate to direct combat AP and assuming it increases the density of the land itself is just assuming too much. Ajeel should stay where he is right now. I would also like to point out the countless feats affecting land/rock throughout from various characters (ranging from fodder to power-houses) whereby they have affected the land/rock as if it was of the same density as before. Again, just to drive the point home, you are assuming too much.

Well all I can say is this.

1. With the Brandish unable to effect Neinhart after his enhancement, is was really only his magic power, not his physical power which Natsu used to defeat Neinhart with. Neinhart is like Gloxinia from NNT, has great quantity of Magic, but extremely lacking in physical feats.

2. Well with Universe One, it is confirmed by the king of magic as compression magic, while objects, structures and people can be moved to other locations, it is the land itself that is compressed and squeezes in on Itself, it is also important to know what is common for what happens with compression.

But all the terrain and stuff is behaving normally as seen from the countless interactions of characters' powers and physical strikes with said terrain. There is absolutely nothing to indicate the terrain has increased density and hardness. I don't think the calc group here would accept any upgrade based on random assumption.

Unless they are stronger than they appear, and if the density remains the same and it is not compression, where does all the excess mass go?

@CNBA3

It's a hax from an author who doesn't appear to care much about the physics of what goes on his verse. And also, it's magic for goodness' sake so don't try and overcomplicate things.

There are some magic does have scientific equivalents on how they operate, like alchemy, Gajeel's assimilation of elements like carbon to make steel, or Natsu's fight with Erigor where he uses scientific processes of oxygen and wind. But what is important is to use common logic with what effects certain powers does.

You're right about that. But we have to examine things on a case by case basis and not set a fixed rule for it all (like the EDC thing the staff are discussing). Applying such logic to Universe One would be overthinking things and we'd be getting into outlier territory. Plus it would only further mess up the power-scales in a series with confusing power-scales as it is. If we did that with Irene, we would have to rethink such feats across verses. For example, it would bump Kyoraku from Bleach up to High 6-B in Bankai (he's currently 7-A) which would be insane to do considering it is sheer hax.

Well it wouldn't be so surprising from the sheer amount of hax that Kyōraku has in his bankai, to subjectively alter reality. Plus how would one calculate a character if they only have and use Hax powers at their disposal and nothing else.

They would get AP on the level of the durability of the strongest characters they can affect probably or get scaled from someone with comparable power based on the energies of the verse. Again, it's a case by case thing and not fixed.

To put it simple Ajeel most probably can create island lvl sandstorm but it's just hax that at max blocks his opponents visual.

Now you need to consider FT doesn't have enough feats to calculate their actual strength like it's obvious that spriggans are beyond city lvl but there is nothing we can calculate that proves that for now (well i am still waiting for agust feat to be calculated so that might help) so for the time being we just wait there is still time before the arc ends.

When it comes to Irene it's changed to enviromental destruction but that's still not going into actual attack potency.
