Central 46/Soul.Society law legal proceedings are show trials where you can get consecutive life sentences for just speaking, so ig the JJK guy stomps given the utter lack of evidence you'd need to convince a SS court.

Probably, upon further thought.

Aizen is only in prison atm because he wants to be, a chance for reflection. An Aizen who gives af about avoiding jail would've just hypnotized the entire Central 46 which we know he could've done.
