Acausality for Shadow (Shadow Fight)

why would this be acausality, considering they are talking about eternal souls, it sounds like they are talking about them never fading away with time

It is a metaphor in the sense that Shadow's soul is equivalent to how great he was as a warrior during his life as a human. His soul not fading away with time is a testament to how strong he was as a human. Time erodes everything under its influence, and Shadow was able to continuously fight against enemies equal and even stronger than him as a spirit for around 2000 years straight. Firstly, this is a blatant Type 1 Immortality. Secondly, this is him not fading away by losing his mind and becoming a mad, empty husk after fighting for all this time (and no, this is not Resistance to Madness Manipulation).

Also, there's this theme and "mechanic (?)" of the world in Shadow Fight where everything old turns to dust and is returned to the Void to be born anew. From the Void came all the worlds, and all the worlds and things in them that grow old with time return to the Void. Both Shadow (from all Planes) and Bolo / Real Itu (from the Original Plane) overstay their welcome in the universe. They both get to live for an extra 2000 years due to their nature as shadow spirits allowing them to bypass the aging that their human bodies were subjected to, and they would've likely lived even more years if General / Descendant didn't show up to finally defeat them and thus set them free from this life stuck in limbo. Shadow spirits are nothing uncommon in the Shadow Fight universe, but most if not all of them are spirits of warriors who weren't as formidable as Shadow and Real Itu were, and so they are short lived and eventually fade away. Shadow is a living legend by the time the main events of Shadow Fight 3 take place, and is an icon of the old world and old adventures of Shadow Fight 2. Real Itu managed to escape the destruction of his world and jumped from alternate plane to alternate plane to save his skin. Outside of Shadow Mind he was the only thing left of his old world, and he managed to live for so long even after everything related to his world returned to the Void. He had it coming aswell. In fact, May visits Shadow's grave and prays for Shadow, believing he lives on in the afterlife somewhere and can receive her prayer, to which Shadow's Descendant tells her that Shadow exists nowhere and there's no point in praying to nothing. Basically there is no afterlife for Shadow as he as a character / person grew old for the universe and returned to the Void. So yeah, here's the explanation to that June quote.
