About Tomura's Decay

The image used to display Tomura's range could be used to scale his Attack Potency as well, since apparently he created it himself with Decay.

Why should we scale his Decay?

  • The My Hero Academia Wiki page claims that:
Decay allows Tomura to destroy anything his hands touch, making it crumble to dust.

  • And describes it as "disintegrating" its target.
Notice they say it's crumbling to dust.

Pulverization: Applied when the matter that was destroyed was turned to dust. We usually use this value when we see no remains of the matter that was destroyed in the aftermath of the attack. The value is 214.35 (j/cc).

Using this knowledge, why don't we scale Decay?

Because his Quirk functions regardless of the strength or durability, it's a hax and thus doesn't scale to AP.

If it was a product of his hax, that's simply range.

@Nullfower Environmental Destruction is the same thing as an AP feat except that the energy cannot directly be used in combat. I don't think hax based destruction should fall under this
