About nature nonduality

I was confused in the thread that explained the nature of nonduality, in that thread it was explained that "Characters with this type of nonduality exist outside and independent of the nondual logical system without exceeding it at any level. Though this power makes them immune to intermediary effects through the duality in question, characters with certain forms of Causality Manipulation, Conceptual Manipulation, Information Manipulation, Law Manipulation, or Math Manipulation could potentially bestow this duality on them, which would remove their nondual nature and make them vulnerable to attacks governed by the duality."

The explanation explains that "characters belonging to this type are outside of and independent of the nondual logic system, meaning that their characters are dual in nature, right?

But it is further explained that with some of the above manipulations, the character has the potential to grant duality. So, what does "giving duality" mean? The character is duality itself, right?

You made a mistake at the bold part.
The page said "independent of logical systems", not "independent of nondual logical systems".

No
The character existing independent of the dual systems are nondual in nature, not dual.
Since the definition is about what is "nonduality nature type 1". (Keeping in mind the correction that I made above, it's "independent of logical systems" which refers to dual concepts of the nature).

But it is further explained that with some of the above manipulations, the character has the potential to grant duality. So, what does "giving duality" mean? The character is duality itself, right?
I think
It's probably means that when a character is nondual simply by being unbound/independent of dual concepts in the verse, then certain kind of manipulation haxes can possibly affect the nondual character (when forced applied), and divide the nondual character in dual parts, thus Ultimately negating their nondual nature.

Which leaves the character vulnerable to dual based attacks, since the character in question is not nondual anymore.

This happens because the character is only nondual by being independent of dualites. It does not Transcends the dualites in existence by being nondual (which would be Nonduality nature type 2).
