In DMC3 manga, it says " A demon's name is truth, more than these forms they take, it is said that the name of a demon is closer to its true substance."

And in a interview with Hideki Kamiya, he said that the name Mundus represents the universe.

So.... Universal mundus?

just to clarify names of a demon hold significant meaning to their power say ifrit is fire, blitz literally lightning, ceberus being a three headed dog (power idek), agni and rudra wind and fire, artemis being a devil arm rifle these are examples i know that normally this shouldn't be taken into account but in the series as the first picture shows names should really be taken seriously in DMC (well demon names sans Trish iirc)

well could this be a footnote or sorts that DMC takes demon names very VERY seriously and you would know their power just by knowing the name

We do not have any proof of Mundus possessing a universal scale of power, so I do not think that would be appropriate. It would be misleading and confusing for visitors.

true but it can a foot note for mundus is vague still though for the verse like ifrit, blitz yeah it was literal

Blitz acquires higher super speed through electricity manipulation the latter of which is its main ability so no, we have no idea how Mundus's substance correlates to that of the Universe or if it's AP scalable. I disagree with the upgrade.

yeah mundus is very vague unless DMC 5 clears that up i hope though i guess we could keep this in mind if we know a demons name so we get a rough idea on its abilities :/
