I dunno. It seems more like possession to me, albeit long range/indirect possession. What do you guys think? I mean, mind control is more like suggestion. This seemed more like putting the consciousness on the back burner that possession does.

Possession is typically taking action through someone else. Basically you managed to insert your own mind and conciousness into one's body if you possessed them.

What Ragyo and Nui do is more completely changing one's conciousness to do whatever they command.

That seems more Mind Control to me. Given that Ragyo's mind isn't in Ryuko's body making concious decisions for her. Rather she is simply telling her what to do and she listens.
