About higher dimensionality:

1. From what I understand about higher dimensional existence is a universe that exists beyond the boundaries of another universe, right? For an example, if universe A contains universe B, that would qualify universe A as higher dimensional.
2. If so, can a higher dimensional universe exist in parallel with (aka beside) a lower dimensional universe and still qualify as a higher dimensional universe.
3. Let’s say there is a verse where the characters can hold universe in their hands as a small item. But the story consistently states that their universe and the universe their hold exists in parallel with each other. Would this goes against them and their universe being higher dimensional or not?

As far i understand, just with that, it be a no. theoretically even if its infinite universe. a typical space-time continuum which this wiki scales low 2-C can have infinitely many high 3-A infinite universe. You need more then that.

1. no, a universe containing another universe, such dimension should be uncountably infinite larger compare to the universe A to be a higher dimension.. And should have evidence of an additional spatiality or temporality.

2. yeah, a higher dimension existing beside the lower dimension isn't a contradiction, a larger object can still exist beside a small one, but it doesn't mean it's bounded by such notion

3. This doesn't really contradict it being a higher dimension, parallel could just also mean they exist alongside to one another but can be perceive as a lower dimensional framework.
