Mundus teleporting Dante is blatantly headcanon all the instances of teleporting in DMC are shown nearly instantaneous or are shown to be clear teleportation like with the Nightmare demon in DMC1, and Mundus teleportation has never looked like that in the first place shown when he teleported to Griffon to kill him and it can't be a portal because in the final battle when Dante returned to Mallet Island Mundus rips open a portal to the island and that also doesn't look anything like what Mundus used when he created that area.
