I am genuinely really confused as to what this question is supposed to be

It just sounds like a description for a really sharp sword, but an ability at all.

This sounds like a little kid’s OC who has the “blade that can cut anything” because just why not??

Does the sword actually succeed in being so?
Perhaps the person believing it will be so sharp is under Perception Manipulation or some other kind of Mind Manipulation. Fear Manipulation? Empathic Manipulation?
If the sword does end up acting as if so sharp, how does it do so?
Is the blade truly sharp, like a razor's edge? Maybe it's just well-crafted. If there was a supernatural element involved in the crafting, maybe Metal Manipulation? Is Sharpness Manipulation a thing? Maybe Density Manipulation or such is involved since a heavier blade may cleave easier through things.
Reality Warping?
If it's only so sharp for the user &/or what it cuts, maybe Subjective Reality?
If the sword changes, sometimes being dull or sharp, maybe the sword itself has Shapeshifting?
I think it seems like there are MANY possible answers, but we need more info, to know which are applicable, if any at all.

The user believed that it can cut the space, and so it can.

That is what happened in canon? Then it may qualify for some of the above stuff, & likely qualifies for Spatial Manipulation, I think.
