A Request

First of all, I'd like to clarify that I am not sure that such requests are allowed here. If not, feel free to close the thread, with my full apologies.

Recently (Kind of), a friend of mine was banned from the wiki. His name is Kepekley23, and if I am not mistaken, he was banned for offending staff.

Now, I usually wouldn't care the slightest about it, since that has happened before. This time though, he appears to be really sorry over what he had done, from what I've seen about the issue.

If possible, I'd like to not only request, but suggest for him to be unbanned. Not only he feels sorry about the situation, but is willing to help out in order to compensate for it.

He's been talking to me off wiki for the last few days. He's been very polite, nice and helpful, he even helped point out a few unbanned sockpuppets (example). I was thinking of requesting to shorten his ban time, but I've been so busy today it slipped my mind.

The dude hasn't been particularly bad, and I feel he wasn't really rude to people who weren't already rude to him in the first place.

I am personally fine with unbanning him, as he seems nice and polite. However, somebody should preferably ask Matthew about it.

Thing is, the guy is already talking to Matt over on my wikia. Most probably about the concern of his ban.

As for unbanning the user, i guess there's no harm in that. Plus wasn't he only banned for like 1 month originally? At the time initially i mean cause there was a time when Matt showed me about this guy about that one issue where he was perma-banned until it was shortly resolved on other places or whatever. If anything, i (again) don't see the harm in having the guy on here as long as no stuff happens again. The damn wiki this place will always be in has gotten enough in the past months so maybe this isn't so bad to happen at least early on.

Yeah i dont know why he was banned, he was a pretty legit bloke and wasn't really rude to anyone from memory atleast and his ban should be up since the protocol is a month's ban if they get banned first time, though yeah it's ultimately up to Matt whether he comes back.
