A Pattern in Normalcy (Dirk Gently vs Satou Hiroshi)

Fight takes place in PK Academy, 50 meters apart with no line of sight

Thought this'd be a funny crossover. What kind of pattern can you find in perfect normalcy? I genuinely considered removing the baseline prior knowledge characters usually get but that'd make them fighting hard to push so I guess I'll just have to settle for this
 
Dirk's profile is sooo empty and incomplete, I should revise it sometime... I'm unsure how to provide commentary on the match given the state of the profile, but I'll try

I do think that things being perfectly normal is a strange pattern, which both seems backwards and makes sense, lol. I think Dirk of all people would be able to go, "Hey, nothing weird is happening, that's weird!" and be able to tell what is going on

Going off the profile for Satou (I don't know his verse), he seems to lack combat experience. Dirk does too, but he's been in/survived enough fights to know what not to do, at least

Satou is average. He is a normal student. Normal grades, normal friends, normal personality, normal physical abilities and intelligence. He is perfectly average, so he cannot lose nor win since that wont make him average

Satou just warps reality and makes it a cliche event, they probably wrestle like normal people until eventually Dirk says "What if instead of fighting we get to know eachother, friendship is most important am I right!" Or some cliche bs about friendship or hardwork and then its a perferctly average and normal tie

On the other hand, isn't figuring out stuff like that Dirk's specialty? I dunno though, let's wait for @ShockingPsychic to respond
 
Wouldn't Dirk being a protagonist and anomalous entity causes Satou's hax to have limited effect on him? He'll also be able to recognize whenever his actions and environment are being influenced and link these occurrences back to Satou both thanks to his ability to perceive connections and because everything being perfectly normal is abnormal in his verse.
