A new type of Preparation

Well I had asked about this earlier in the thread, since it was about the topic of this thread, and the people here answered. If you'd prefer me to make a thread in Questions I wouldn't mind but I mean, it's still relevant to the topic and I don't think it's worth a whole thread

Okay. No problem. I still do not understand the question though.

If the civilization page I created and the way I modified the already existing problems is fine. Simply put my worry is that now profiles might get deleted as they have Unknown as almost all of their statistics, as they're basically support-only characters. This is an example of such a page.

I don't see how this is related to a thread about preparation. But imo if all stats are unknown and the character doesn't even have any abilities that can be of any use in combat, then such pages are useless. Unless of course you mean that the character can get an army through some kind of prep, which would be related to this thread, then that should be fine.

I mean, the characters are commanders of the army, and they would obviously get them through prep.

Well, I do not really think that this adds anything of value whatsoever to our profile pages.

It just creates ongoing widespread unnecessary work, and it is very easy for regular members to misunderstand and add lists of virtually ever character that other characters have ever collaborated with.

It will also be near-impossible for me to evaluate which cases that are accurately or inaccurately handled in my regular edit-patrolling duties, for fictions that I am not very familiar with.
Just a reminder that I still strongly believe in these statements, and that now is a very bad time to apply this type of widespread revision that does not add anything of value to the wiki.
