A new calc group forum?

I like the idea, but I'm against limiting only allowing calc group members to post there. I feel like it should be open for everyone, even if it is calc-member centric.
I am also in agreement with this.

We kinda already have a Calculations Request and a Calculations Evaluation Thread. Both work fine.

What they need is more Calc Group members following them.

@Matthew The problem is that when people comment on the blog posts, it's inefficient as we never get the notifications for it. If we were to do that in those threads, they'd get clogged up and those who want to get their calcs evaluated will get the focus taken away from them.

Yes, and if there are other projects that need discussion between different calc group members, this would also be useful.

Okay. It might be best to wait a bit though. Kavpeny told me that he wanted to create the forum.

On second thought, never mind. I do not think that it matters if I create this forum. If the explanation text that I provide for it is inappropriate, it is easy enough to change later.

Let's hope so.

For calculation blogs that need further evaluation, discussion, and/or rework, you can now create threads in this forum that link to them in the first post, and then invite different calc group members to properly discuss the issues.
