Well, Ki is energy, so it is normal that ki blast can destroy cell and matter that why it can negate these level of regen through sheer AP, isn't really hax. But to people who argue sheer AP, well you can't "punch" away matter with you fist

But the thing about Gohan is wasn't him and Cell relative to each? Either Gohan would need a special ability to get over cellular level regeneration or he's ap would had to increase by such a amount he overcame Cells regeneration

We see in the manga that it is demonstrated that the villains are destroyed to such a level that there are not even molecules or matter left behind, you can very well see this when Cell is defeated in such an absurd level that it is completely erased from the comics.

Lack of visible matter doesn't mean that Cell was destroyed to the point that there were no molecules left behind. We can't exactly see molecules normally.
