Again, the disaproval came not from the idea of a Composite Goku profile. While I don't think it's particularly needed, there's also nothing exactly wrong with the concept, and it would be allowed by our rules.
The overwhelming negative response to your suggestion came due to the motivation behind it. I.e, creating the Composite 2-C Goku profile solely to appease fanboys.

It was not solely to appease fans, as I mentioned in my posts. I just thought that it would be a nice gesture to them. However, I agree that I should have worded this differently from the start.
So, should we switch focus on the discussion to whether or not the character qualifies according to our regulations, and would be appropriate to add? According to SSJRyu1, Goku has lots of additional abilities across different media.

Different abilities doesn't mean different person. While Goku does now have Hakai in the manga (probably has something to do with this thread tbh. Not saying Ant made this for Hakai, or that someone got to Ant though), purification hax in some games, and other things, he didn't do anything new to get those things, except for maybe at the very end. If Goku had an entirely different path gone down, like GT Goku, whom we have no qualms allowing, then that would be a different story. Again, he's not like Link, some Pokemon, or a good portion of Digimon.
That said, I can still see this going through if you guys really want this. I will not put up a fight for either side, and will just voice my opinion occasionally.

Well, I personally do not particularly care either way. I just thought that it might be a good idea, and be more evenhanded towards the iconic character, given our massive focus on the different incarnations of Superman.
Anyway:
SSJRyu1: "I mean we got like his new hakai ability in manga, all his GT capabilities, MSSJB from the manga, feats from manga like the champa one, all the movie abiltiies he pulls out, easily 2-C power from SB, In Xenvoerse he can teleport through time and sense others in alternate timelines, those are just a few diffrences off the top of my head."

Correction. SB Janemba (who's the only non-Zeno 2-C in the verse) was hurt by beings far less than his AP. He's unknown in durability, glass cannon at worst. Low 2-C Goku? Yes. 2-C Goku? Not likely. To top it off, no amount of multipliers will get him to 2-C. Characters who are universal+ via stupidly casual actions like breathing, a single heartbeat, snapping, existing (would probably link a Digimon to that, but I can't think of one off the top of my head), etc. don't jump the gap.

Personally, I think a Composite file is okay. I honestly see no problems with it. If people want to scale characters to it, we will deny any horrible scaling. Simple as that. I could careless about "Appeasing Fanboys" it's more about, if it follows the guidelines or not. If it follows the rules, then the file should be fine simple as that. I don't see a problem with it as long as it fits the criteria. That is all that matters. Is it breaking any rules? Will it really be that much of a problem? Is it necessary? Kinda. It does allow Goku's other non-anime feats to be used instead of just thrown out because it isn't in the anime.
So basically as long as it follows guidelines it should not be no different from any other composite file. If it does not follow guidelines then it shouldn't be made. This should not be such a big problem. Everything Dragon Ball related should not turn into such a huge problem(And yet it always does). It should not be treated worse or better than any other verse. Dragon Ball is nothing more than another fictional verse on our site. It is nothing special.

I pretty much agree with Scarlet and Matt on this. I wouldn't mind a Composite Goku being made, but I think making it for the sole purpose of appeasing people who can't accept that their canon character isn't as strong as they want him to be is a very bad reason.

The reason why people want composite Goku was the last event from manga. I don't agree with mixing non-canon with canon, but I can agree mixing the adaptation and spin-off of the main canon (anime, specials, etc), and even tho is a little questionable. If people want to have a GoD Goke, better we can do is allow DBS manga profiles.

Composite Goku doesn't seem too bad considering there is probably alot of stuff Goku has done outside of the main continuity (Seth the programmer and SSJRyu1 seem to know alot hit them up)
Although making it to appease the fanboys would be really cheap so if you are going to make the profile, atleast have a legit reason such as Goku being an iconic character, or that there are many other characters that have composite profiles that arent too different in terms of requirements ect.

What about Naruto (Composite) lots of games and stuff? What about [insert popular franchise]?
If you guys are pushing for the profile that badly, don't complain when the people will be trying to get composite profiles for their favorite chars. Also when people ask these things do we just say "Nope, we can't do that cause our site like Dragon Ball more than most series?"
Anyways, my last argument to this, just something to consider...

I am sorry, I know I am not a member staff, but as someone who has tried his hardest to help out with Dragon Ball back in the past, never in a trillion years should this be allowed.
1. Give the more rabid Dragon Ball fans an inch, and they want a mile. They won't be appeased by this, they will just complain and nag and nag and nag on how he should be 2-C and not stuck and low 2-C, or how he should be 2-B because of this, or how he should be 2-A because of this. Appeasment has never worked, EVER.
2. As people noted, some verses need composites (I.E Pokemon, Dragon Quest, Mario, Godzilla) due to a lack of information for one specific game. But not Goku, we might as well have a composite Naruto, composite Ichigo, composite whatever. It is a slipper slope opening the floodgates to "COMPOSITE NARUTO REQUEST" threads.
3. It will just lead to more confusion. You can highlight in neon-letters every other sentence that this is the composite page and that the main page is here, but people will still be confused and accidently use composite goku for matches.
4. It will lead to more stomps and spites against Goku than ever
Seriously, if you want. You can just accept the DBS manga (Which is debatably canon and which AT seems to be more directly working with anyways) to be co-canon with the anime and have all the feats and abilities from the manga/anime in one there. Or you can just make a disambiguum for Goku, but a "Composite Goku... Everything" profile is just a horrendous idea.

Also agree with Fan, allowing this would be a bad idea, it's really not needed, and will open the floodgates for people to request composite profile for every other popular series they like.
