After crashing that plane with no survivors and foiling the plans of the CIA, the government was left no choice but to send in their best operative, Detective Manny Pardo to attempt to apprehend Bane. Bane may have been a big guy for Bill Wilson, but will he be a big guy for the man with the epidermis with extraordinary girth?

Starting at 100 meters gives Manny a pretty huge advantage, I'm fairly certain he could shoot down Bane before he closes the gap.

Bane moves at subsonic, remember. I could shorten the gap or say no shotgun if too extreme though.

Manny does have supersonic reactions though, I think he can pin Bane down and take him out before the gap is closed. If Bane gets him though Manny is probably dead.

I've seen both incarnations but in no large detail. Still, given purely the stats and notable feats, I could be reasoned with at that distance Manny owns Bane. However if the distance is closed to melee range Bane is going to not only kick his ass, but tear him apart. Dude would need beyond standard equipment to manage a survival there.

It's hard to say given the battle's setting, but I'll be fair, range and subsonic to subsonic+ weapons is a surefire way to drain Bane's stamina (using all that reaction speed) and there's no substituing that stamina when you get up close and start doing hand to hand. That and Manny is shown to be very resourceful in his environment, so if he can take advantage of it, I have no doubt Bane will die tired or fast. Only if he gets the jump or ammo is depleted is a victory certain for him.

For my reasons, I vote Manny.
