He could just ram into Iron Giant, lose some percentage of himself and still win. Though his high mid makes this rather unwinnable for GD. What's the win con for both exactly?

Giant: Vape Gun with 4 megaton cannon (he doesn't kill unless provoked so Gun gets the first shots in and anything other than the chest cannon won't work).
Gun: Keep shooting in hopes that'll kill Giant (128 Vs 600 kilotons + High-Mid regen), ram into Giant (don't know if it'll actively do this as an attack).

Well Iron Giant's reformation takes time, so getting rammed may incap him. Though he did fix the dent on his head when getting angry.

The explosion occurred on the upper atmosphere so bro got blasted across the whole planet. He was moving again by the end of the movie so I doubt it'll take that long.

Besides, when he got absolutely mollywhopped by a train, his regen started taking place in a few seconds.

Fair points. Looks like Gun Devil would need to keep up his attacks to deal lasting damage. But seems he'd start with gunfire, which may give Iron Giant the opportunity to go into Weapons Mode.

...I mean...the iron giant's whole character revolves around him not wanting to be a weapon...

(ok not literally his whole character but yk)
Boy do I have a surprise for you.

Peppa pig is far different from the iron giant

He didn't want to became weapon, and he chose to became a hero.

Would he stay on the side while watching Gun Devil rampaging through world, or would he try to fight and stop him?
After all, he did "sacrifice" himself to stop a nuke, while chanting "Superman". What is a difference from this matchup situation?

when did I ever say he wouldn't do anything

listen pigs are omnivores
This must be how you see Peppa Pig.

Iron Giant regen is kinda weird, he puts himself together and fixes broken parts but I don't think he can replace lost matter. So if you actually make big holes in him and actually frag the material I think that damage is permanent

it actually isnt :/

If it's pretty much reattaching broken parts instead of creating new parts/mass wouldn't it be body control?

I mean, he can reattach something as small as a screw the size of a child's hand. It shouldn't be a problem unless the opponent can reduce his parts below that size.

Yeah but those are still whole pieces, he's never shown like, putting a torn steel plate back together, best is he fixes dents n shit.

Maybe? I think listing it as unconventional regen is also fine.

Anyways, Iron Giant will more often times than not make the first move, as since gun devil has guns all around him, he doesn't really like that very much. Said laser burns straight through metal so Gun will be getting torched if he doesn't dodge since no heat resistance.
If Gun retaliates, he will def try to maximize damage via the Vape cannon, the destructo disc cannon, or if things really get nifty, his big boy cannon.
I go for the Giant. He seems to have a lot more options besides "shoot."
