Going with Kong. Zilla breath would do almost nothing to kong as per resistance. Kong is also a lot smarter than Goji so Kong should just win via outsmart.

Nothing wrong with that. While it's not a version of Godzilla all too faithful to the themes of the original character, he's still a fun kaiju plus his son is pretty much TriStar's equivalent of Showa Godzilla when you think about it, which is cool

As for the fight, MonsterVerse Kong is a MUCH smart opponent than TriStar Godzilla. While he doesn't match TriStar Godzilla in AP/Durability, he's got an INSANE LS advantage and given how Kong fights, he's gonna exploit it in-character, in a rather brutal fashion undoubtedly

Kong by the 90s in the MV was likely over 200 ft at least based on estimates, and probably close or around 300 by the time of the Netflix show so he's prolly got a huge reach advantage as well.
