Super Silver VS Metal Overlord

Silver:

Metal is stronger (three Super forms were required to even defeat him) and more versatile, having mimicked all the abilities of Team Sonic, Team Dark, and so on.

Silver’s got stonewall durability (Overlord still couldn’t hurt Team Super Sonic despite its strength) and limitless stamina, so not sure if either has a win condition.

I think Metal takes this actualy, he can copy Silver's powers during the fight (Rivals and Rivals 2), which would give him, worst comes to worst I think Metal can just incap him eventualy
 
Doesn't Silver's powers natural stun robots? I don't believe anyone Metal has copied, Silver included, gives him resistance to it.
 
So Metal doesn't have any resistance to it, with Silver having stonewall durability and limitless stamina.
 
It took three super forms, using all of their power in one concentrated attack, to even scratch Overlord.

I don't see Silver winning this.

But it’s Silver’s opening move, not Metal. Sure, Metal can copy it mid fight, maybe? Could he even copy while stun?

Also, Sonic, Knuckles and Tails didn’t combine their AP into 1 like DBZ fusion. It was teamwork that defeated Metal but not because their AP combined ontop of each other, as you guys are making this match out to be.
 
Eggman said that regular attacks were useless, implying they did have to put in a greater combined effort to deal damage.

They used several Team Blasts to hit him, Team Blasts are team super moves, regular attacks don't work on him

Sonic's page isn't WoG, it should be noted it's a team move
 
Eggman also stated that even with the Emeralds' power, their chances for victory were slim.
So, the idea that Overlord requires close to the full potency the Emeralds provide (as what was known at the time) to defeat makes sense.

He also said it would take a miracle, only for Sonic to beat Metal with Team Attacks. Like, MechaGodzilla needing Kong and Godzilla to fight it at the same time to win and they barely won.
 
Team Blasts are explicitly more powerful than a regular attack so Overlord is still
Definitely stronger than just one Super form.

Because it's a special move? I don't understand your points, it's clearly a far stronger move since regular attacks don't work on him, not even other combo moves like a Knuckles power type attacks
