General additions for Dead Cells. 5 BC Spoilers, if you really care.

Because I got really busy in the middle of making it. User:PlotInducedStupidity/sandbox This is what I got as a basic beginnings of it. Feel free to change anything about it. If not I will be far more active very soon and can get it done, as well as the additions that will come with Bad Seed. I...

General additions for Dead Cells. 5 BC Spoilers, if you really care.

I'm pretty sure the player takes no damage when the head enters lava. As far as I remember, it simply immediately returns to the body upon touching the lava. I'll check this tomorrow when I have time. Regardless of whether the lava actually damages the player through this, the fact that the...

    Gyro+Johnny Power Additions

I agree with Chariot about spatial BFR, though if there is a problem with the way the wiki lists it perhaps a note would be more appropriate?
  4. PlotInducedStupidity

    ÔÇ£Symbiotic" showoff!

Actually, speed isn't equal either. Venom is immensely faster than The Beheaded, though given the amount of AOE The Beheaded has, and the fact that he has attack reflection passively outside of his shields, I suppose technically it wouldn't be a stomp, though the specification of "Victory by...
  5. PlotInducedStupidity

    ÔÇ£Symbiotic" showoff!

Sorry I mistook that as a question about The Beheaded.
  6. PlotInducedStupidity

    ÔÇ£Symbiotic" showoff!

Then this is a stomp unless venom can affect things on a cellular level.
  7. PlotInducedStupidity

    ÔÇ£Symbiotic" showoff!

Killing the host is basically incap, as The Beheaded never fights in that state. He seemingly can, see the note about the homunculus rune, but he never does.
  8. PlotInducedStupidity

    ÔÇ£Symbiotic" showoff!

Then I agree. This is a super decisive match, borderlining a stomp. The Beheaded can do any number of things to beat venom. This made even worse by the fact that The Beheaded's turrets, regular projectiles and even footsteps leave trails of fire, which venom is noted as weak to.
  9. PlotInducedStupidity

    ÔÇ£Symbiotic" showoff!

Don't know much about venom, but there is a mention of low-high for the symbiote. Is that applicable?
  10. PlotInducedStupidity

    ÔÇ£Symbiotic" showoff!

The Beheaded seems capable of possessing still living things, but he only ever does this with his own former body. This could be because the only living thing in Dead Cells that isn't horribly infected is his own body, and thus possessing anything else would be a waste, or he may only be able to...
  11. PlotInducedStupidity

    ÔÇ£Symbiotic" showoff!

He doesn't. Nothing on Venom's profile suggests he can. Probably better to change the arena to a lifeless desert or something to prevent The Beheaded from just getting back up constantly.

Composite JoJo tries to solo your verse

I mean, I'm fine with it, its just that its hard to keep track of when that ability has been there and hasn't. But I agree this thread is getting completely derailed.
  13. PlotInducedStupidity

Composite JoJo tries to solo your verse

I've just looked through the threads myself, and it doesn't actually seems that D4CU creates universes was actually accepted. https://vsbattles.com/vsbattles/3260081 This thread proposed it, but evidence was never posted, seemingly due to the fact that hardly anyone has read Jorge Joestar...

Composite JoJo tries to solo your verse

I'm willing to help with the blog if you need it. I've been planning to re-read the novel, though I've never read any of its predecessors.
  15. PlotInducedStupidity

Composite JoJo tries to solo your verse

Considering how often The Beyond needs clarified, even for people familiar with JoJo, do you think it would be worth trying to get a blog written explaining what it is and does? Hell, I read the novel and it still confuses me. Also, to keep this somewhat on topic Dead Cells gets effortlessly...

Composite JoJo tries to solo your verse

I'm pretty sure a quote exists, but I don't have it to hand. I'll see if I can find it.
  17. PlotInducedStupidity

Composite JoJo tries to solo your verse

Its 5-D because it comes from a 5-D being interfering with the plot. It only makes things that make sense in the plot happen, i.e. Kars defeating DIO rather than Joji, but it will stop him from being defeated.

General additions for Dead Cells. 5 BC Spoilers, if you really care.

I will probably list myself as knowledgeable then, but while I am doing so I'm also going to remove the bit on the verse page about high-mid regen, and perhaps replace it with a mention of The Beheaded's immortalities.
  19. PlotInducedStupidity

General additions for Dead Cells. 5 BC Spoilers, if you really care.

Okay, I can remove the regen. The next couple of things aren't strictly related to the CRT, but since you are her I may as well ask: as far as the matches go, would The Beheaded be limited by the same constraints as in the game, i.e. only one legendary affix per item, access to two weapons and...
  20. PlotInducedStupidity

General additions for Dead Cells. 5 BC Spoilers, if you really care.

That implies to me that the high-mid currently listed on his profile would also be invalid too. Am I interpreting this right?
  21. PlotInducedStupidity

General additions for Dead Cells. 5 BC Spoilers, if you really care.

If we go by The Beheaded being a very small collection of cells, they likely don't take damage. However the regen page notes "a puddle or drop of blood" as part of the criteria for low-high. Considering how small The Beheaded actually is would likely be somewhat smaller than that, wouldn't that...
  22. PlotInducedStupidity

General additions for Dead Cells. 5 BC Spoilers, if you really care.

If we do take that, doesn't that just straight up justify low-high for regen?
  23. PlotInducedStupidity

General additions for Dead Cells. 5 BC Spoilers, if you really care.

I see the point that The Beheaded may just be too small for most creatures to hit, but a lot of enemies have some kind of AOE that could be utilised to attack the actual Beheaded, with The Giant having both the innate AOE of his attacks due to his size and his laser attack (The Giant being...
  24. PlotInducedStupidity

General additions for Dead Cells. 5 BC Spoilers, if you really care.

What are your thoughts on the possibility of scaling 5 Boss Cell to 8-B due to unamped attacks from The Beheaded doing low damage to the bosses? Even if this doesn't include all bosses, The Hand is already listed as likey far higher, so it would possibly scale to him and The Alchemist.
  25. PlotInducedStupidity

General additions for Dead Cells. 5 BC Spoilers, if you really care.

I would have suggested 8-B attacks from lower end people, because the King one-shots the High 8-C body of The Beheaded, and, depending on what the consensus is about my point about amps, high cell difficulty bosses or at least The Alchemist likely already breach 8-B. I'm stupid and don't know...
  26. PlotInducedStupidity

General additions for Dead Cells. 5 BC Spoilers, if you really care.

There's also things like The Alchemist being confident that he can kill The Beheaded without permanently damaging the real Beheaded, which becomes relevant considering plenty of The Alchemists attacks would directly hit The Beheaded's head.
  27. PlotInducedStupidity

General additions for Dead Cells. 5 BC Spoilers, if you really care.

Invulnerability was more a way of putting it simply. Probably not the best idea. For what I was referring to, I mentioned this somewhat in the actual post but for a brief summary: The real Beheaded never takes any damage when detached from its body with the homunculus rune, though this is...
  28. PlotInducedStupidity

General additions for Dead Cells. 5 BC Spoilers, if you really care.

Additions have been cleared up, but there is still the issue of the damage amps and the seeming invulnerability of The Beheaded's true form. And The Beheaded's gender, but that is far less important. Even the lowest percentage based amp, +30% on a burning target, is enough to barely scrape The...
  29. PlotInducedStupidity

General additions for Dead Cells. 5 BC Spoilers, if you really care.

How does this look as a mention of the Homunculus rune as a notable technique? Notable Attacks/Techniques: -Homunculus Rune: The Beheaded partially detaches its true form from the body it is possessing temporarily, allowing The Beheaded's true form to move independently from the body it is...
  30. PlotInducedStupidity

General additions for Dead Cells. 5 BC Spoilers, if you really care.

Can't find a video of it, but the gamepedia page https://deadcells.gamepedia.com/Runes gives a decent description of it, except the immobilisation is short and the head deals constant damage to whatever it attaches to. Also, for body puppetry, I suppose you could count The Beheaded possessing...
  31. PlotInducedStupidity

General additions for Dead Cells. 5 BC Spoilers, if you really care.

The only body it allows control of is the King, in a weird special ending. I'll try to find a video of what it does.
  32. PlotInducedStupidity

General additions for Dead Cells. 5 BC Spoilers, if you really care.

I'm also going to change the bit on The Hand's profile which says he is the final boss, because he is no longer the final boss.
  33. PlotInducedStupidity

General additions for Dead Cells. 5 BC Spoilers, if you really care.

I'll get to applying these. Does the homunculus rune fit under any specific power, or would it be best for just a brief description of it to be added to the profile? While it may sound kind of weird, The Beheaded would maybe benefit from having "frozen" under status effect inducement because...
  34. PlotInducedStupidity

Why is Heaven Ascension DIO still 2-A?

Yeah it should be put to unknown until a tier is decided. I prefer just treating it as hax with 2-A range, but if we need to tier it high 3-A seems better.
  35. PlotInducedStupidity

Edited enough that "General Overhaul" is probably the best way to describe the changes.

King Crimson and Interaction with Time Skip

Eficiente mentioned possible options of what King Crimson can do, and the second seems to make the most sense: he can break things and move people. This explanation only leaves the fortune teller, the introductory arc unexplained and, to an extent, Narancia unexplained, as far as I can tell...
  37. PlotInducedStupidity

King Crimson and Interaction with Time Skip

Even more ironically, I've never liked attributing it to CIS or PIS though especially considering that stupidity doesn't even begin to describe how stupid or out of character it is for Diavolo to not attack in erased time at some points. I will need to ignore an reply to this until tomorrow...
  38. PlotInducedStupidity

King Crimson and Interaction with Time Skip

The argument is really which inconsistency is most consistent. Diavolo have a lot of examples of doing things in time erase, but also a lot of examples doing nothing when it would have been advantageous to do so. Both are inconsistent, it really comes down to which inconsistency is generally...
  39. PlotInducedStupidity

King Crimson and Interaction with Time Skip

I suppose a direct statement is out then. As I said before I'll continue arguing tomorrow, but you should probably ask other knowledgeable members in the mean time.
