    Dandadan - Speed standard

Turbo-Granny is definitely not a God Tier. A God Tier is someone like Reiko Kashima. Unless you can provide a scan directly comparing her to the Tsuchinoko?
  2. Damage3245

    Tien Shinhan High 4-C upgrade

I'm not against this proposal; I've advocated before that DBZ characters can output much higher levels of AP with special attacks sometimes like the Kikoho or charged-up Kamehameha, etc. Will reserve judgement till I see any more responses.
  3. Damage3245

    Dandadan - Speed standard

Not really, for the reason I explained above.
  4. Damage3245

    Dandadan - Speed standard

Strictly speaking not all feats are necessarily going to be in conflict with the 100 km/hr statement even if they have a higher value. Like the Tsuchinoko estimate of 666.666667 m/s doesn't really matter because its speed is never compared to Okarun's Turbo-Granny mode or Turbo-Granny herself.

    One-Punch Man: AP Revisions

Okay. Let me get another admin to look it over, then should be fine to apply. Kachon has updated the sandbox with this. Are we good to go?
  6. Damage3245

    One-Punch Man: AP Revisions

Okay. I don't think it's the most ideal but I can compromise with that proposal. Any minor little disputes can be hashed out in the future but those sandboxes look fine to me for now. Though I think Nichirin's calc should be removed from Atomic Samurai's section until that other thread is...

My Hero Academia: The Final Smash Calculation

As far as I'm aware we don't have explicit confirmation on how long it took to reach the US, right? I know Rusty's calc calcs it to be around 6 minutes but that's by assuming constant speed.
  8. Damage3245

    Dandadan speeds (particle beams)

No? Here it's explained that the train is faster than her top speed. Here Turbo-Granny manages to catch up because the train slowed down to be slower than her. There's nothing odd here.
  9. Damage3245

    Dandadan speeds (particle beams)

It's not jumping that lets Turbo-Granny catch up, it's the fact that the train isn't working at full speed all the time whereas Turbo-Granny can.

    Naruto to Boruto Discussion Thread

The line makes a lot more sense without him actually smoking there tbh.
  11. Damage3245

    One-Punch Man: AP Revisions

With the current one, but I'm just waiting to see Kachon's changes. May be okay with the possibly ratings.
  12. Damage3245

    Dandadan speeds (particle beams)

Yeah, I'm not in favor of wholly disregarding repeatedly stated lore like the Turbo-Granny being able to run at 100 km/hr.
  13. Damage3245

    Dandadan speeds (particle beams)

Yeah, Okarun is stated to only be able to go faster than 100 km/hr inside the elctical cables because he's an astral body at that moment.
  14. Damage3245

    Dandadan speeds (particle beams)

    I agree.

My Hero Academia: The Final Smash Calculation

That seems reasonable - I'm open to listening to other Calc Group Member's views on it. For what it's worth I have contacted DontTalkDT for their input, who I think should be able to explain whether or not my point has any merit in the thread. If I could think of an easy alternative to the calc...

Ben 10 - Questionable Armadrillo Calc

It's contradictory to the statement; with typical earth density (which is what was assumed for the calc and makes the most sense), the size of each of the asteroids in their asteroid belt would be larger than our IRL Moon as they'd have each have over double the mass of our Moon. When they're...
  18. Damage3245

Ben 10 - Questionable Armadrillo Calc

That doesn't mean every single asteroid has an atmosphere. Not every asteroid from a shattered planet is going to necessarily be the same size. The asteroids in our real-life asteroid belt vary in size too. I think the more direct statement on the actual size of the asteroids - that they have...

Even if we accept that for Genos, we still need to resolve the G4 scaling as he definitely shouldn't be scaling to a solid Large Town level rating.

My Hero Academia: The Final Smash Calculation

I think this is a misue of Occam's Razor. Assuming the Izuku's shockwave maintained a constant speed over the entire distance actually adds complexity by ignoring the physics involved (shockwaves should slow down at they propagate through the atmosphere). A simpler explanation to me would be...

My Hero Academia: The Final Smash Calculation

Daleasean posted the link to his potential solution above, to an issue I raised in this post.
  23. Damage3245

Ben 10 - Questionable Armadrillo Calc

That fits in a lot more with the statement of being the size of small Moons based on the list of Moons in the OP. Asteroids that size would still be more than big enough to have extensive tunnels in them too.
  24. Damage3245

Ben 10 - Questionable Armadrillo Calc

The Talpaedan's asteroids are described as "irregular chunks of rocks" and that screenshot of the planet looks pretty regular to me.

Ben 10 - Questionable Armadrillo Calc

I wasn't using it as an argument by itself, I was just bringing up additional information, hence why I said "may".
  26. Damage3245

Ben 10 - Questionable Armadrillo Calc

Going by this, it may be that the original information the calc is based on has been retconned:
  27. Damage3245

Ben 10 - Questionable Armadrillo Calc

I think that method relies on too much speculation. (Underground tunnels that are sealed off from the outside could easily have a pressurized atmosphere, and living on the surface just requires suits) The best method to me would be use an average of "small Moons" to get the value.
  28. Damage3245

Ben 10 - Questionable Armadrillo Calc

I don't think we've been shown that they all individually have their own atmospheres.
  29. Damage3245

My Hero Academia: The Final Smash Calculation

I think the issue with the method you've brought up is that it is calculating the drag force on it as if were a fixed object over the entire timeframe, with the mass, the volume, the area, etc. all being constant variables. Since the shockwave is constantly expanding, making all of those things...

Dragon Ball Super Discussion Thread 100

I get where you're coming from, but even if this is what is happening it still wouldn't make sense. Saying that "no new timeline would generate because nothing is different" is just wrong because there is a difference which is that Beerus' knowledge is different. It wouldn't impact Zamasu's fate...
  31. Damage3245

Dragon Ball Super Discussion Thread 100

What is the original reason for why Beerus kills Zamasu in one timeline and doesn't kill Zamasu in the original timeline? It's because in the original timeline Future Trunks hadn't travelled back to them, to warn them of Goku Black.
  32. Damage3245

Dragon Ball Super Discussion Thread 100

This doesn't make a whole lot of sense. Beerus only went and killed Zamasu because of an act of time travel, hence the act of travelling through time does alter time.

My Hero Academia: The Final Smash Calculation

Truth be told I don't think this formula actually tackles the root issue that I brought up, though I appreciate the explanations and I'm trying to work through the problem.
  34. Damage3245

My Hero Academia: The Final Smash Calculation

I didn't say there were errors in it, it's just that it likely hasn't been brought up in the thread because it hasn't been evaluated and until it's been evaluated and accepted it shouldn't be considered yet.
  35. Damage3245

My Hero Academia: The Final Smash Calculation

That calc hasn't been accepted by any Calc Group Members.
  36. Damage3245

My Hero Academia: The Final Smash Calculation

Thank you. I don't think ShigarakiShimura's comments are helpful to the thread since their first proposal is just to treat a negative number as a positive one.

    Naruto to Boruto Discussion Thread

He's a little dumb. He was the only Kage to get caught in Madara's Genjutsu, he smashes through walls instead of taking the door, he sacrified his arm just to get a hit in on Sasuke that ended up not amounting to much... Very brute force centric, I suppose. Can point out to his teamwork with...

    BAN-KAI! Bleach General Discussion

We already knew Trancsendence was never dropped back in the manga, didn't we?. When Aizen was in Muken his spiritual pressure vaporized that cocky guard who got too close to him, just like how Aizen was destroying humans in the Fake Karakura Town.

My Hero Academia: The Final Smash Calculation

The distance from Mt. Fuji to America per Rusty's calc is 10731640 m. I'm just a bit confused on how you turn that figure into 67428900 m^2.
