"Weight does not matter, because it doesn't impact strength and durability."
Yes it freaking does. More weight means more stress is constantly being applied to the body, so more strength and a more durable bone/muscle structure are needed in order to bear it.
"But in the film, a building...
"tanked a gigaton"
Where are you getting this number from? The bomb was a 2400 lb, 1.2 megaton bomb, according to the film's novelization.
Also, coming out of the blast severely wounded does not mean he tanked it, it means he survived it.
The feat itself is also inconsistent. If Gipsy could...
@WeeklyBattles Even barring the meteor feat and going strictly by the 2014 movie, Godzilla is still more impressive than Gypsy thanks to tanking Castle Bravo. He's also 45x heavier, so I doubt Gypsy could even budge him.
Lucario faces off against Lancelot, who somehow got pulled into the Pokemon universe. Just regular Lucario since Mega would be too strong. Lucario is in the surrounding region when he senses a malevolent aura, which he immediately follows. This leads him to Camphrier Town, where he finds...
The Sorcerer Supreme faces off against the Vampire King himself. Strange has SHuman-Gorath's powers. Both get a week's prep time. Fight takes place in Dracula's Castle. Starting distance 50 meters. Combat speed is equalized. Victory via incap, BFR, or death.

Doctor Strange: 5...
Kratos, at his absolute weakest and armed only with his Blades of Chaos, faces off against Nosferatu Zodd from Berserk.
Random encounter. Victory via death and speed is equalized. Starting distance 300 meters. Fight takes place on the outskirts of Sparta. Zodd starts off in his human form...
Pre-Mending Bolas vs True Self Darkseid. Fight takes place on New Genesis in two rounds. Victory via death. Speed equalized.
Round 1: Random encounter, no prep.
Round 2: Each knows everything about the other.

Nicol Bolas: 4
Darkseid: 1
MeleeniumRXJ has some valid points. On some of the profiles it seems to me like we're just cherry-picking who's Star level or above and who's not. Take Laurence for example. He's one of the toughest end game bosses from the dlc and yet is Building level whereas Lady Maria is Large Star level...
Oh. Well in that case then I change my vote to Vegeta due to reactive evolution. There's nothing Oniku can really do to counter that, since, even if there was, Vegeta would just evolve to counteract that counter.
From what I can tell from GV's profile, he doesn't have any form of Regenerationn...
True however if Oniku can beat both Goku and Vegeta in his base form when they're both SSB then the hax probably doesn't amount to much. Unless I'm missing something.
I still think Round 3 goes to Arachi and Oniku. Goku may be stronger now and have resistance to reality warping and time...
Hulk should scale from Thor, or vice versa. We were previously scaling from Thor IIRC until Ghost Rider showed up, and yes the Sokovia feat was (and possibly still is) an outlier.
Perhaps until this is sorted out we should scale from Thor instead of Ghost Rider? I only ask because Thor's tier was changed based on GR's non-existent feat.
Round 1: Oniku. From what I read on his profile, he tanked hits from SSB Goku and Vegeta in base. He's in SS3 for this fight.
Round 2: Again, Oniku. He tanked hits from an enraged Beerus.
Round 3: I'm gonna say Oniku and Arachi, seeing as Arachi has some pretty good hax abilities.
To add to that, Skyrim's in-game map is also scaled down considerably from its true size.
The size of Skyrim in-game is about 37.1 km┬▓ (14.3 square miles), while on a 1:1 scale Skyrim would be about 3,554,994.37035 km┬▓ (1,372,591 square miles) when going by the manual for Arena which says...
Ah, okay.
I actually hadn't considered the three One Third Umbilical Cords in that capacity before. It makes sense that he'd need a power boost.
Now that that's out of the way, there is still the rest of my original post about where exactly A Call Beyond stands in regards to tiering. I would...
Shouldn't Ebrietas be high-end 4-C instead of High 4-C, then? You're saying that the Hunter > MP > Ebrietas, however Ebrietas' profile says her version of ACB is more powerful than the Hunter's.
For that matter, how is the Hunter superior to either of those two when they are just as capable of...
How on earth do we quantify that?
Umm, it's saying that it's an explosion of a star, but the explosion is small, not that it's the explosion of a small star. I think you missed the point of what I said.
You need to look very, very closely, but it's there.
Thanks for reiterating. Makes more...
If that is the case and it's not actually portraying a star exploding, then what are we really seeing here? How does attack size not play a part in this?
Which makes me wonder how Large Star level is even remotely justifiable.
All I see is a white flash from the attack starting up, followed by...
A Bloodborne nitpick of mine that has bothered me for some time now. I want to point out some issues with the current tier rating for the Hunter based on his use of A Call Beyond. While I am aware that a calculation has been done on the move, I feel that the use of this calculation is in error...
Oh, well then that was right at the beginning of the movie. From what I saw, it was just a small amount of water being boiled. Hardly an entire sea. I don't know where that claim is coming from.
When did that happen? From what was shown in the film, he was only boiling the water in his immediate vicinity.
It was during the final battle in Tokyo.
I think that's debatable, to be honest. The distance from Vvardenfell/Red Mountain to Mournhold is supposed to be 250 miles, which is impossible on such an overly small scale. A more recent, canon-friendly approach to gauging Tamriel's size was given here and allows for a literal interpretation...
Katarina Du Couteau takes on Samuel Rodrigues. Victory via incap or death. Starting distance 100 meters. Fight takes place on the Seychelles Mother Base.

Round 2: Speed equalized.
