    They weren't hit with the full might of the technique. In the same arc Milo (who was one of the Golds performing one of the AEs) was nearly killed by Saga's GE and only survived because of Mu warning him about it.

    The AE requires 3 Gold Saints working in tandem, nothing suggests it scales to each individually, especially when they get hurt by a lot less in Classic.
