    Seems like Fox just has more going for him, especially if he gets in close to Tails. The younger fox won't go down without a fight but there's little he can do to counter Fox just being more skilled and having powers beyond just his gadgets

    Tails is actually pretty decent in Melee, he could go toe to toe with V2 while the latter was utilzing sword combat and was even able to knock away his sword with the magic hand once he got an opening. Without the tornado, Tails is also still able of flight, albeit a little more limited but...
