...this, Zebes and Tallon IV's weights have never been changed. I've seen some people use this to debunk the idea that they were an accidental mistake*, since Retro/Nintendo would have had plenty of time to rewrite them.
And sure, that's true. But why would they even look? What was rewritten...
Beyond the fact that being able to lift a castle full of someone doesn't mean you can one-shot that someone (I can lift a brick but I can't smash it. Now don't get me wrong, Mario can definitely one-shot Goombas, but that's a bad example), it can't really be game mechanics when it's literally...
They're not "lesser characters", Son-o is basically equal to Kiichi and each could blitz each other with their special kicks (The kicks actually even have a higher speed rating than their overall combat speed), and that is what they see in slow-motion, all of that coupled with precog much better...
Average modern Pokémon quality then
I wouldn't worry too much about the studio, it's not uncommon for them to start with smaller project and remakes to then upgrades to full-on new games. Not to say there isn't a chance the game will be bad- there's literally always a chance, that's just how...
Slow motion isn't anything new to Kiichi, even at a much lesser skill level he can enter Sky Eye/Kime-Sorame, a state where he does something similar, to such a degree that he literally cannot be hit by people who were pretty reliably beating him before, with all his actual senses distorted...
Mario and Luigi are obviously not stonewalls, they fight people who can hurt them a thousand times more frequently than they tank stuff that's way above their level. You can't expect literally every showing in this 300-game series to be consistent with every other one.
What I used was Primehack, it lets you play the trilogy with PC FPS controls. Dunno what the odds of Prime 2/3 getting remastered is so worth looking into
Mine is Super > Fusion > Prime > Echoes > Dread > Metroid (It's less fun than most of the ones under it but I respect it more) > Samus Returns > Zero Mission > Corruption > Hunters
I loved the 1-2 reveal, it was done in such a nonchalant way, based as **** move.
Honestly this was a really good Direct, NGL. I expected a few ports and remakes and maybe MP4 but we got a lot of stuff
They're very worth playing, especially 1/2. They don't take any getting used to, they aged really well since they're sort of a mini genre of their own.
Actually, what's y'all's ranking of the Metroid games?
I think that'd be a bit of a weird spot to put Mercurysteam in, essentially forcing them to make the Fusion saga a contained thing rather than the status quo of the series. Also I just realized, this is the first time every part of the franchise is in western hands, which is notable.
All fair...
That'd be cool, yeah. I don't think they're gonna do much with M2/SM having happened (And they definitely will avoid referencing OM), given Prime and mainline usually don't reference each other in very major ways, but it'd probably change the vibes a bit
Oh, also, Missiles are selected with the D-Pad, which I think was Visors in MPR. Either there's four kinds of missiles in this game or they're counted alongside Beam weapons.
A few other things
Samus' gunship got redesigned a bit but I think it's the Corruption one? Looks pretty similar to how it did in FF
Fairly sure this is the exact same Varia suit model/design as MPR which makes sense
The minimap has a compass, which I think is a first. Also the map is blue...
Looks to have a more or less extended "action" intro like Corruption did, hopefully it's less linear than that game though. Scan Visor looks like it did in Prime 2 which is great as far as I'm concerned. Also, I think I saw blood around that dead Space Pirate, which would be the first time we...
I actually think it's fine to use Immersion for entering normal mirrors, while it's not "fiction" it is a place that doesn't really exist, and entering it is fairly notable in that regard.
... However this is clearly just a portal.
This is a bit odd in that the statement that they do affect...
Could I ask you to elaborate regarding why the MFTL+ feat isn't legit for combat speed/reactions? I don't necessarily disagree but as the OP is rn I'd ask for a bit more reasoning.
