If it's exclusively homaging G1, like Earthspark is, then it's G1 in my book. For example, Animated also homaged G1, but it homaged a bunch of other stuff as well.
it's a separate continuity, yeah
speaking of recent cartoons, would Earthspark have the G1 cartoon's feats apply, since in continuity terms it branches off of that?
The English dubs of the Unicron Trilogy, Armada to Cybertron, are one continuity. If you wanna divvy them up, go for the Japanese dubs; Micron Legend and Super Link are in continuity with one another while Galaxy Force is separate.

This figure of her from that line is pretty good. It's what I have, and it was one of my first as I got back into collecting.
Jobby is, objectively speaking, one of the best Transformers reviewers on YouTube. His editing, his way he shows the transformations, is impeccable. Otherwise, though, I really can't stand his sense of humor; his personality both in and out of his videos is absurdly obnoxious.
I've also always...
In the final episode of the first season of the cartoon, Heavy Metal War, Megatron and Optimus agree to have a final bout of one-on-one combat to settle their war once and for all. Megatron, in preparation, uses a device that allows him to absorb the strength and abilities of his other...
Voting for Julius. Oliva would have the initial advantage in a slugfest, but Julius would pull out the eventual win once he pulls out Gott-Töter Steinbohrer, even if Oliva in turn tried to counter with the Orb or Pac-Man.
Note that the glass on one of his windows shattered and came back together, implying he can reassemble parts that've even been shattered into little scraps (presumably he'll still die if his brain or spark are destroyed, though).
Also, I feel like it it should be noted that his separated parts...
For the record, the Of Masters and Mayhem version of Killswitch wasn't intended by the writer of the former to be an alternate version of the Ask Vector Prime version of Killswitch, but the guy who wrote the Ask Vector Prime version of Killswitch does consider him as such, so make of that what...
Ask Vector Prime. It's ambiguous what universe he's from, though; it's either Generation One (specifically the Japanese cartoons) or Unicron Trilogy. There was another, albeit completely different version of Killswitch in a Generation One based story, Of Masters and Mayhem, where he became a Six...
I enjoyed it much more than Siege and Earthrise, and I'm at least glad that the trilogy went out on a high note.
We also got a pretty notable pseudo-feat via a statement for Netflix Optimus, too. I'll keep it vague, for anyone who hasn't seen it yet, but there's a pretty big chasm in the...
[POTENTIAL SPOILERS - this is all gathered from various press releases and reports, but don't read if you don't wanna know anything]
Having read from various sources, here're all the currently confirmed details of the new Transformers movie, Rise of the Beasts:
It'll be set in 1994...
Well, no Predacons have been named as of yet, but they're confirmed to be appearing as a tribe of reptilians, so there's a chance Megatron could be among them (likely as another name, either Galavar or Gnashteeth, and we'll get to see him take on the name of Megatron).
Something I'm a little bit irked on, at least by the sound of things, is that some characters sound like they have the name of one but the appearance or personality of another. Mirage being a silver Porsche with blue stripes (Jazz), Nightbird switching between factions while playing everyone...
Even easier solution - when Megatron gets revived in ROTF, just have the energy from the AllSpark also revive Blackout, Bonecrusher, and Brawl. Doesn't only explain Grindor, but also explains why we see Bonecrusher at the battle in Egypt and Brawl in Dark of the Moon (beyond just them reusing...
Couldn't it be assumed that the pods are vaporized or something? Plus, given how we've only seen Autobots using pods, and they're usually unable to fly, maybe they're just for helping them get off of the planet, as opposed to taking the brunt of re-entry?
They're not, really. The comics use an expanded version of them without the Tech Specs, while the cartoon used abridged and sometimes even completely different versions of them (Shockwave was a primary example of this, as his cartoon profile described him as having no emotions or ambitions...
Just as a fun suggestion, what about making profiles based on the G1 toy bios? They have feats listed in their profiles and have stats to scale characters to one another.
