Though Cocoon is 8-C so there's that as a benchmark at least. There's also Solid Snake's P-Bombs that have a calc, 8-C to 8-B, it's on his profile.

Yeah. I really don't know why it's gone as long as it has. 4-5 feats+scaling to characters with their own FTL feats+Direct hype from a confirmed stated FTL character should be enough to suggest that a single line that was only relevant for one chapter is kinda sus, which is proven wrong in that very same chapter. Hell it'd be like if we took a statement saying Raiden couldnt dodge a bullet even though he has like every time he comes into contact with one.
Some of the other shit is fine but that in particular is a hard no from me chief.
But yeah, in regards to feats, Cocoon should be fine (casual 8-C feat) and the P-Bomb is already calced and accepted too (8-C to 8-B). I've been thinking if it may be possible to draw a value from ocelot denting the hull from Raiden caving in the hull (the hull withstood 8-A energy for over 20 seconds before giving way and caving in, the only issue is that the cave in is way larger, so some scaling comparison would need to be involved).
If I recall the microwave hallway is tier 8 too.

I thought the thread was supposed to remove the MFTL rating, not the FTL, are they trying to remove the FTL aswell?
Weekly wants to have that calc re-evaluated, so we'll see how that goes. The P-Bomb calc is... weird, to say the least, Weekly and the others will 100% have issues with it. And I honestly don't know how something like that would work (the Outer Haven stuff I mean), it seems really messy to me tbh

No, but that really doesnt matter. Multiple FTL+ feats and scaling and a MFTL feat (with said FTL+ feats being not far behind). It really shouldnt be even subject to debate. Of course, treating EVERYONE as MFTL is dishonest as ****, but the god tier speed stands? They have the feats so it's fine, characters like early Part 4, chunk of Part 3, some Part 5 and 6, etc shouldnt be MFTL though, in egards to Part 4, even REl+-to low end FTL is fine. Just the top stands, which dont even amount to double digits in number (less than 10 stands), should retain MFTL as they have more than enough concrete feats that have been calced.
Isnt that because of hollowness? The calc uses the same hollowness as a tank, if anything that's to high, Cocoon isnt a manned unit, it wouldnt have hollowness on par with a tank percentage wise as it doesnt need to accodomate a crew. If anything it's a good solid low end.

I don't see the hollowness being mentioned on the calc, all it says it that it considers Cocoon as having the same "volume" as a tank, I don't know if that takes the hollowness into account. I don't know, we'll see what happens when they re-evaluate it.
I think tier 8 could only come out as a result of calculating the time he spent there, or something like this, which would probably fall under stamina more than dura itself

Something just came to mind. I never bothered to look because it didnt cross my mind but, does anyone at any point manage to withstand and go against Psycho Mantis' telekinesis? Because, dont think I should have to mention this as you already know but, he can effortlessly lift and control Metal Gears with his mind.

No, I don't recall anyone ever overpowering Mantis' telekinesis, but it's possible that I'm missing something
