Basically the actual way to do cutting calcs is "blade edge thickness x area of the cut portion" then multiplied with the compressive strength (AKA pulverization) if it is a clean cut.

For example, if one cuts a stone cube in half, the formula would be side^2 x thickness of the blade. Basically, area of the cube cut times the thickness of the blade in which the blade's thickness is the height.

This is what Ugarik said regarding how to do cutting feats. I was originally going to suggest a similar method but he basically beat me to it.

Hmm, I can't quite tell how to apply that to magically fracturing a rock tho.

Officially rejected? You mean I need to make a thread explaining why this method should not be used?

Wait Agnaa, what exactly are you calc'ing? I thought your feat was just another one of "sword cutting rock feat calcs".

@Ugarik I mean, other calc group members accepted it repeatedly. I'd expect a disagreement between them to get resolved in a thread or something.

@KLOL506 I linked it in my original post here, it was this calc.
