That looks like it's just treating the dimensions in questions as alternate universe existing side-by-side with one another, and not directions or anything of the sort. They're even compared to branes.

It did say the dimensions overlapped each other like membranes, which means they layered upon each other. The clip illustrates them as a manifold at first, then they split them apart so the viewer could have a better look at them.

That still doesn't really suggest those dimensions are spatial ones. Dimensions are just directions, while membranes are objects existing in the space formed by said directions (Our universe is often posited as a 3-dimensional brane, for instance)

How are the dimensions not spatial? The clip suggests the dimensions are layered like membranes, not that those dimensions are physical universes. It shows how our world (the Human World) exists within the membrane of the 11-dimensional manifold or "bulk".

Because spatial dimensions aren't places, or layers of existence, they're just directions to walk in. And branes, likewise, are not the dimensions themselves, just physical objects existing in those dimensions.
