    You don't know the context. He was saying that Character A can beat Character B, but here's the thing. What he was saying was objectively wrong, in fact, it was ridiculous. I'm not saying this to insult him, but I'm saying it because it's fact. What he said was like saying that Krillin can beat Goku in Dragon Ball. He blatantly proved himself that he cannot powerscale, and I simply pointed that out. That's not an insult. Literally everyone in the thread who saw his argument disagreed with him heavily.

    I think it's very difficult to be "objectively wrong" about whether one character can beat another, even if you try to be. I doubt that someone operating in earnest would slip up like that. And if they hadn't, then you're just insulting them.

    But you didn't provide the context for us to look at, so I can't really confirm or deny.

    EDIT: After the context being linked, it looked like you were both providing arguments with well-formed reasons, so it doesn't seem like he's objectively wrong, just has a different interpretation of the material.
