On that topic, remember to always source where you got the height of a certain character, or if the character doesn't have a set height, explain why you took that assumption. The same goes for the tensile strength, where did you find that vallue?

    Hello, tried to wait a week before asking and also did have Viott check through it (both methods; down in the comments). Could you evaluate this feat? Though one quick question I had is that the way the scene went is that the shipping container wall was compressed which caused an temperature incase in the reefer. Viott said these kinds of feats shouldn't combine methods but since it happens sequentially rather than simultaenously, I was wondering if the combined energy output could be put together? If not, it's fine, the total output doesn't change anything tbh.

    Would it not scale to the user who performed the feat? The scene narration did imply that it was his attack that caused the temperature change after all (somehow, idk, author logic. Same scene (it should be in the imgchest link) also says that his attack brought alive the fish that were frozen for many days :unsure: )

I wanted to ask you, since you do tend to look at manwha calcs only if Viott looks at them prior: Is there someone else you would recommend double-checks the calc before asking you? I've seen a lot of other people ask the guy, and I really don't want to contribute to burnout on his side if possible. If you don't think anyone else is up to the task, it's fine too; I just wanted to check with you first

    It would be better if you made another blog if you plan to add calcs. That is not exactly a calc as much as it is a statement. I would recommend you to separate it, we don't put the scaling on a calc blog, we put on another location normally

    Apologies. I thought a week old or so calc would suffice but I’ll keep that in mind and aim for 2-3 weeks assuming there has been no other input from anyone else.     Lots of problems with this one:
    1. The video you gave is not proof it reached all around the world, where is Shinnok and where are the soldiers?
    2. It can't be a storm, there is no water.
    3. You also can't use either the height or how high up in the air they are. The red clouds are below non storm clouds, so they are clearly in a much lower altitude, and due to its nature, I don't know if we can infer it has any water content or its height.

    You can't get distance by subtracting its size, it doesn't make sense. You found out that the Ice was 3.0929 meters away, to calculate how much it moved, you need to figure out the distance in the 2nd, not its "new size" (Which doesn't really make sense). After you get the new size, you would subtract it by 3.0929 meters

    Hello Drite77,I have a question regarding LS

    As far as I know, feats where a character crushes an object with their bare hand are also considered LS feats, such as crushing a brick or crushing a concrete floor. The formula commonly used is something like: Hand Contact Area * the object’s compressive strength (MPa) (if I’m mistaken, I apologize).

    This made me wonder: what if the character crushes the object completely into fine powder?

    In that case, could we instead use (F = W / S )? In other words, calculate the energy (in joules) required to pulverize the object, then divide it by the contact area of the hand to obtain the pressure/force applied.

    understood. But it’s not theoretical. Green Lantern says in the clip that the wormhole generator is designed for the Javelin (JL’s spaceship) to access interstellar travel. Martian Manhunter says that the engine of the Javelin reaching light speed is what causes it to trigger a wormhole. If it’s designed to transport that ship across space via wormhole it has to be the size of the ship at least. I also have proof he isn’t running at light speed at the time of the throw; but I respect the calc being rejected and the honesty. Thank you. If I ever make another attempt I will be more careful with the evidence.

    Worth noting: If you're not satisfied with my opinion you can always ask for a second or third opinion. A CGM rejecting a calc does not mean it is automatically invalidated, as other CGMs hold different opinions on calcs all the time

    The calculator app I use doesn't calculate pixels, it directly calculates meters from a reference. I updated the hollowness to 80%

    Also, I think tensile strength should be used instead of breaking strength.

    The direction of the force is important. The character grabs the center of the armor and tears the piece toward themselves. The applied force pulls the plate perpendicular to its surface, creating tensile stress rather than compressive stress. As the stress increases, the material exceeds its yield strength, undergoes plastic deformation, and eventually, once its ultimate tensile strength is exceeded, a crack propagates through the material until the section tears apart. That is why the hole is formed.

    Priority 4? oh no this scales to everyone, the mercs can eat that sandwich without no problem like heavy does.

    It's confirmed both in game and with achivements that they are capable of performing the feat.

    So it would make this calc at least a priority 2.

    but I realized this needs more clarification, so...

    It's true that the wrist was cut before he was able to reach max velocity, and the idea was to cut the slower moving wrist. yes. however, there may be a misunderstanding regarding how the lightspeed value is being used in the calc. again, what u said is true, in fact, this is the basis to the calc itself.
    The sword achieves the lightspeed mark at the end of the swing that is why i treated the light speed value as velocity final (vf=c) of the swing and modeled the motion as uniform acceleration throughout the swing. Using this, i calc'ed the time required for orsted to reach various percentages of the swing (10-90%). the purpose of them was to account for the fact that eris intercepted the swing before it reached max velocity, since the exact interception point is unknown, it provides a range of possible timeframes. The text implies that Eris acted simultaneously in accordance to Orsted. Therefore, Eris would've needed to complete her own motion within the same timeframe to reach the relevant percentage of completion. As a result her required speed is derived from th available timeframe rather than directly scaling to the wrists intsant speed. the statement regarding the "slowermoving wrist" was mainly used to justify treating the attack as rotational motion and to distinguish the wrists velocity from the swords velocity. so the final results are not based on assuming thr wrist itself was moving at SOL throughout the entire process. SO again, the calc isnt assuming Eris intercepted a SOL wrist rather it assumes the sword reaches SOL at full completion and then derives the time available for interception at earlier stages of the swing.

    Isn't the fact the character had to do all of that indicative they are nowhere near the speed of light? It is pretty obvious that if the character could reach or exceed the speed of light, those would not be things they would think about. Even at 0.8c, that feels like way too much.

    The issue is that whether we should use seismic waves is quite controversial. The earthquake calc has been changed and applied several times already. Gojo was 7-A at one point because of the earthquake, but it was later rejected as an outlier and using seismic waves was deemed incorrect.

    I'm neutral on this, but I know that sometimes the administration can lock in decisions regarding calcs, like they did with FTL Naruto, to avoid a huge number of revisions.

    Could you please express your opinion on whether we should use seismic energy or only surface waves? And also tag the other members? Because I feel we need to reach a consensus on this topic rather than make a dozen threads about the same calc.

    A few notes regarding them:
    1. These calculations are from a manhwa.
    2. MuMuMu is a relatively new manhwa that has only been around for about a month (it was released on 15/05/26).
    3. Following from point #2, since it is such a new series, I am not sure whether Viott is familiar with or knowledgeable about it. Although he mentioned in the discussion thread that he has read the first two chapters, I still do not want to bother him unnecessarily.

    But can it be used as a support feat at least? It would just only used for reinforce the consistent of 106.02 Mach he scales to, so it won't look like an outlier. without us using it to scale his speed at all.

    Hello. Sorry to bother you. I have a question related to calculation. If character A perceive a projectile coming towards them, and at that moment character B completely surpasses character A's perception, can I calculate character A's perception through the projectile and then use that as a timeframe to calculate character B's speed? I'm not sure if it's calc stacking when I see this accepted calculation

    Yeah the island is super massive, as are the mountain ranges the surround it. May I ask what the issue with using KE is? The mountain was launched up as Rocks was in the middle of speaking so it seems to have happened in a reasonable timeframe.

    Time is hard to tell in a still image like that, I think using a normal cutting feat approach is easier and less assumption heavy then using a time frame
