Wait a minute. Is it supposed to be 60 m/s or 144 m/s for a rubber bullet. Theres a jjk calc that uses 144
Jackof_noTrades068

Seems like it depends on the firearm first and foremost
But when checking why on one calc they used 200ms for a rubber bullet

Chisato uses a personalized custom made M1911 for her

Jack…. She doesn’t use rubber bullets. Those damn bullets creates several holes into car doors

😭
If they’re that strong use the muzzle velocity of real M1911’s then
Which is 253 ms.

Another thing is the Light Novel apparently says they're not rubber bullets and that they're frangible bullets

Frangible bullets are generally comparable to real ones just with worse range and piercing power so the standard muzzle velocity should still be used.

Chisato had to fight in her own unique way because she adamantly refused to use the regular ammunition that all other Lycoris were supplied with. Chisato used nonlethal rounds only—rubber bullets. Hers were a special make, utilizing red powdered rubber. They weren’t made with natural rubber but a synthetic kind—essentially plastic—like what was used to make erasers, for example, mixed with powdered metal for increased weight and impact force. They fell into the category of frangible plastic rounds. On impact, the bullets fractured into tiny pieces, which looked like blood gushing out of the target or like a red spider lily flower when seen from the side. Chisato never shot from a distance because of her unique ammunition. Rubber bullets were lighter than metal ones, and their power dropped dramatically the farther they had to travel. You couldn’t hope for decent accuracy with them unless you were up close. These disadvantages were even more pronounced given Chisato’s bullets were the frangible type

Non-lethal rounds—so-called rubber bullets. However, in her case, the projectiles are quite unusual. The “rubber” is actually a red, powder-like material—not derived from rubber trees, but a type of elastic plastic similar to what’s used in erasers—combined with metal powder to increase the bullet’s weight and promote fragmentation. In other words, they are plastic frangible rounds. Upon impact, the projectile shatters into fine pieces, and the burst of “red” spreads like spurting blood. Viewed from the side, it almost looks like a red spider lily blooming. You could say that the reason Chisato avoids precision shooting at long distances is entirely due to this ammunition. Rubber bullets are generally light, so their power drops off sharply over distance, making accurate shooting difficult. With frangible rounds, these drawbacks become even more pronounced.

Is it safe to use 253 M/S

Btw I got the explosions confused. Apparently, this is the Wall + feat for them tanking it
Jackof_noTrades068
Jackof_noTrades068
Looking at that TL, use 253ms. esp since the scene is close range too so the whole velocity and accuracy fall off shouldn’t be too bad

Also that feat does look Wall+ yea

Nvm its solved but we're jobbing to the radio tower explosion calc rn. Got any idea how to calc the distance between the bombs and the explosions
Jackof_noTrades068
Jackof_noTrades068
Well bombs cause the explosions so 0. Unless you mean between these guys and the blast. Where's the bomb in this scene?

Nvm we got it. Ill send the calc soon

Everything else about the calc is fine.
Except this
You plugged in the explosion diameter into the explosion formula when you’re supposed to plug in the radius. Aka 163m
Otherwise everything else you did is right

Small building is crazy
Jackof_noTrades068
Jackof_noTrades068
Well it won’t be small building once you correct the explosion radius you plugged in😭

It’ll prob be wall+ or way lower into small building.
