Surely Final Wars can get an upgrade then? Based on Keizer being the strongest of the Ghidorah group and the strongest of Godzilla’s enemies, as well as Final Wars Goji being stated to be the strongest Godzilla iirc

I think it's definitely referring to Godzilla 2000, since the title literally says "Godzilla 2000: Millennium," making it clear that the entire passage is discussing that version of Godzilla. So the statement about him first appearing in 1995 should also be referring to the Godzilla 2000 version.

No? Humans were already aware of Godzilla's existence before 2000, as Yuji Shinoda had even founded the Godzilla Prediction Network (GPN) to predict Godzilla's landfalls and track his movements. The opening scene of Godzilla 2000 itself shows the GPN tracking Godzilla's movements.

Yes, I think Ztes is right, especially since the GPN was specifically created to track and predict Godzilla's landfalls. The opening of Godzilla 2000 even shows them tracking his movements, so it's clear that they already knew about him before the events of the movie.

It's actually not based on just one source. The blog compiles multiple supplementary sources that support and reinforce the same scaling. The statement you're referring to is only one of several pieces of evidence presented in the blog, so I think the entire collection of sources should be considered before calling the rating vague or unsupported.

Aside from what Apex mentioned, I don't really think this would be that bad even if it was only one source, since it seems pretty clear to me and it should be taken as seriously as all other guidebook statements. I don't see what makes this any different from other guidebook statements we use.

Exactly. People are acting as if Godzilla 2000 is somehow unique for having its scaling supported by guidebooks, when guidebook statements are regularly used for other Godzilla pages as well. If we're going to accept guidebook material as valid evidence for some incarnations, I don't see why the same standard shouldn't apply to Godzilla 2000.

You know, you're probably right but this one feels a little more shaky compared to 2000 since that's only like two statements as opposed to the like six completely separate pieces of material talking about 2000 being cracked, though you could back it up with that one G-Fest short showing Monster X fighting Burning Godzilla 2000.

Horrible news. First time in a while that I felt saddened by the death of an actor or celebrity. Most times it's someone legendary who dies of old age as humans simply do but here, she was just a kid. Sure she was already an adult technically (and surprisingly, time is flying at hyperspeed) but that's even worse, she just reached adulthood, she had her whole life and career in front of her and a car crash took it away. I wish I could send my regards to her family.

"It" and Godzilla are used interchangeably throughout the whole book. You can look at the scans for the causality manipulation, Godzilla Amphibia is referred to as "It" throughout the whole thing and explained how they're the same. Godzilla as a name appears once humanity names it and then we hear the name from the 3rd person POV of Pero3 and the POV of the characters. When describing the POV of the Kumongas on the other hand, "It" is consistently used.
If you're asking if "It" looks like Godzilla then idk maybe, I doubt it has a proper comperhensible appearance in the first place since you can't really "look" like anything in a place without time, space and dimensions as a whole, not in the common understanding of it. It does have a body that it can move there.
If you're asking if Godzilla and "It" are the same entity then yes, they are. It is a bit complicated though. "It" split into two and one half became SHIVA. SHIVA is technically the same as IT and shares the wish to be destroyed as that is IT's wish (for SHIVA to be destroyed cause its useless). SHIVA manifested as the thing we saw and the main trunk of this metaphorical tree, "It", created a body for itself in the universe, the body we know as Godzilla. It's thoughts and actions are Godzilla's thoughts and actions.
Here's a quote of "It" manifesting the Godzilla body into the world, the actions it takes are followed by Godzilla.
"It slowly raises its head. Following that movement, a head is born at the place where no head had existed until then. Or rather, from beyond the rift, a head manifests into this world. It also appears as though it suddenly emerged from the ocean floor. It slowly undulates its body. As though it had existed in that way since a far distant past. It extends its body toward the past as seen from the present, thereby establishing its own existence. Rather than coming into being step by step from a small embryo, it generates its own birth by extending its already grown body into the past. And then it begins to sing. Carried by the song, the creatures that fulfill the role of its eyes begin to flow."

Cool. Thanks for actually doing an attempt at the eldritch thing. If it was me drawing (if I had skills above garbage) I would've tried giving it a flow sort of thing, maybe give it something tree esque at the same time. It's why I chose the Christmas tree nebula in red as a placeholder, it looked cosmic and sorta like Godzilla. Unexpectedly, people seem to have adopted that image as the representation of "It", I keep seeing it everywhere now.I actually made my own art of what I think "It" looks like. I did actually use a PNG image of a tree roots, they were just edited with an effect and a coloration that matched the main "body" in the middle of it, its the multiple tendrils around the head. It might be hard to see, but yeah those are just heavily edited tree roots.
