If they're both in-character then they definitely aren't gonna kill each other. Even worse Samus can potentially quintuple her AP if she gets angry during this fight and just one-shot Miyabi with any of her attacks due to then being 10× her AP.

samus' prior knowledge seems a bit better for her than miyabi's im ngl 💀

miyabi just knows she's fighting a skilled fighter. samus straight up gets intel that miyabi has the potential to one-shot her, and she can probably just figure out exactly how with her scanners. samus is smarter, is stronger with more reliable ways to amp herself, has better range, and has multiple different ways of incapping or killing her, which include

  • her missile's temperature manip
  • freezing miyabi with her ice beam
  • paralyzing her with the wave beam
  • straight up nuking her with a power bomb

if samus knows that tailless is capable of manipulating space and firing out spatial attacks then she's probably just going to try and target it directly, and from the looks of it she has multiple options of trapping the sword or just getting it out of miyabi's grasp. and from there samus should just be a way more skilled martial artist on top of just having a boat load of different abilities to work with so she probably just beats miyabi down

maybe i'll try and argue a bit more for miyabi later but at an initial glance kind of just seems like samus has way more going for her, especially if she can immediately just frame 1 deduce miyabi's weaknesses and directly target tailless

The rage amp isn't something Samus can just willingly pull off at the drop of a hat, she needs to actively be outraged at the enemy or whatever which probably doesn't happen in any random fight.

If Miyabi's one duraneg thing requires all that chargeup and such it's unlikely to hit Samus who basically has one-shot stuff of her own even without the amps. This seems like a fairly easy win.

I don't see how Miyabi's getting through Samus knowing how cracked the Scan Visor is, she'll figure out how she works and just makes sure to not get hit while spamming anything in her arsenal that she can't get around. Also her "not knowing how" means nothing when the Scan Visor will tell her just that, so voting Samus here.

to be fair i don't think the attack itself actually has that long of a chargeup, seems more like cinematic timing if anything. i mean it's not like bringer actively slowed himself down as he was about to hit her given that he was literally trying to kill her, she basically just reels her arm back and then fires off the slash

granted, it isn't something she resorts to immediately anyways given she was sort of emotionally amped when she fired off that attack, so i still think samus probably just incaps her or takes her out with her plethora of other options before she can get it off

oh i haven't cast a vote yet, yeah i'm siding with samus here. i think her starting knowledge + her being able to start off immediately scanning miyabi gives her a strong advantage right from the jump and from there her own skill, experience, and massive arsenal of different abilities should be more than enough to keep her at bay and just eventually set up an incap or kill

I dunno chief, this feels like a stomp, her amazing scans on top of of her amps can get to 10x stats difference is way above what Miyabi can do

Again the amps just aren't very relevant here, those are only when she's like downright outraged, she can't just pop them at will, so unless Miyabi starts opening fire on random passerbys I don't think it's gonna happen. Whether it's a stomp or not without tho, idk

i don't think this is a stomp, miyabi can still potentially one shot with spatial manip and she should likely be able to either counter a lot of samus' ranged tools with her own ranged slashes or just dodge and manuever around them with her insane mobility. plus she probably has a LS advantage, her LS value is lower but she's heavily upscaling from it whereas samus is capped out at her LS value from the looks of it

i could probably argue more for miyabi if i look through all of samus' stuff, but i do think samus probably just has more to work with at a glance
