[18-8-0] The God of War VS The Sword Saint - Kratos Vs Reinhard - God of War vs Re:Zero

Honestly, thinking on it more, Kratos can also just restrain him with the telekinesis of the Amulet.

If having a possible win condition (cause Kratos's body doesn't resist EE in this key, that much is true) doesn't make this a stomp then I can keep a vote. But otherwise, yeah.
I'm pretty sure people arguing for three pages over who wins is more than enough proof that the match at least is debatable

Honestly? If you ask me, it does seem like a stomp too. Reinhard is already undergoing changes (again), and there are way too many matches. If kratos just needs to think to win then yeah it's a complete mismatch

I don't remember the exact details of the spear of death fight so I will take a look at it again after I get back home

There have been matches twice as long that ended in a stomp.

Kratos is getting another layer of time hax in 40ish hours so yeah, likewise. This is currently a mismatch.

If just having a possible win-condition disqualifies it as a stomp, then that's one thing. I don't know how exactly we treat that in the rules (if we have any rules for a situation like this at all).

As long as each side has a win-con its fine. Remember Low Difficulty and Stomp are not the same thing.

True. Though, as said, Kratos is going through changes as well as Reinhard so it might be prudent to call this a mismatch, on top of the overwhelming advantage he has in hax.

At least this was slightly smarter than the one where they threw Reinhard at Ragnarok Kratos.

Would it make you feel better if I told you the original plan was Baldur vs Reinhardt

I swear I was making an actual good re zero vs kratos matchup but I kept getting blocked by random ahh Reinhard matchups 😭

What a Legendarium of lies

Anyhow Kratos FRA

Kratos killed David Jaff, while Reinhard didn't kill Tappei.

Anyways I suppose it's still true that Reinhard can pull off his win more consistently if kratos doesn't kill him with *** magic and btw I did point out earlier but he can dodge mists and rain of light.

Oh and dodging lightning doesn't mean you need to dodge electrons to whoever said that and mists of light is MUCH harder to dodge anyways

Stomp implies one side has no viable wincon. If Kratos decides to not lead with his instant wins, Reinhard can get a instant win. It's possible for Kratos to choose to go for something he doesn't realize won't work, simply not likely imo. If Kratos were guaranteed to lead with something like Flames that would be a stomp, as Reinhard would have a 0% chance of winning before Kratos, for example, as far as I know.

Possibilities are cringe
Just say Kratos stomps because of tought based hax or something

The point is that, as discussed, Kratos would know right from the start Reinhard is dangerous and would therefore immediately use his best options. Planck69 even listed several less flashy abilities that would defeat Reinhard instantly, such as Telekinesis and Interstellar Power Null.

No matter have a wincon if it couldn't land on your opponent.

When the first argument begins with "Kratos is a brute" I feel like the rest of it probably isn't going to be very good either.

Brute: a savagely violent person or animal:
"he was a cold-blooded brute"
"the dog, an ugly and vicious-looking brute, dragged at its handler's leash"
Anyways, you know as well as I do that just because you think one point is "wrong" doesn't suddenly invalidate the rest of the argument. That's a hasty generalization.

I mean, I'm right, the rest of the arguments are pretty dogshit, but grace is already started so w/e 🕺
